Scotty McCreery Opens for Rascall Flatts as they Kick off The Riot Tour

amazing as always tonight !!

Despite its name - "The Riot Tour" - the show put on by Rascal Flatts was not.

One definite high point was opening act Scotty McCreery, he of "American Idol" 2011 fame who has come into his own as a solid country singer.

For being just 21, McCreery has stage presence a-plenty and a decent catalog of hits like "Feelin' It" and "See You Tonight" and "The Trouble with Girls."

But he won over any of the skeptics in the crowd with a heartfelt medley of country classics "King of the Road," by Roger Miller; "Mama Tried" by Merle Haggard, "Folsom Prison Blues" by Johnny Cash, "Chattahoochee" by Alan Jackson and "Mountain Music" by Alabama.  This, from a kid whose peers grew up listening to NSync and the like.

Only gripe? At 30 minutes, his set felt short for an opening act when they often go for 45 or 50 minutes. Give us more McCreery next time.

I've only listed the portion that is about Scotty.  To read the full article click on the link below.

Scotty McCreery Joins Rascal Flatts in Noblesville, IN tonight

The Klipsch Music Center is a giant outdoor amphitheater located in the Noblesville, Indiana. With a seating capacity of 24,000, it’s the largest outdoor venue in the Indianapolis area. Although the venue is primarily used for concerts, it occasionally hosts political rallies and high school graduations.

Klipsch Music Center History

The venue first opened its doors in 1989 and has gone through two name changes since its opening year. The venue sits along Sand Creek near Indiana’s former Route 238. The venue was built by Sunshine Promotions, but is now owned and operated by Live Nation Entertainment.

The amphitheater was originally known as Deer Creek Music Center and was later renamed to Verizon Wireless Music Center. In 2011, Klipsch Group, Inc. purchased the naming rights to the venue and renamed the amphitheater to Klipsch Music Center.

Notable Concerts and Festivals At Klipsch Music Center

The Klipsch Music Center features 6,000 seats under its pavilion and another 18,000 general admission seats in the lawn area. Its massive seating capacity has allowed the venue to host some of the biggest concerts and festivals in the music industry. Some of the most notable and memorable events include:

    Mayhem Festival
    H.O.R.D.E. Festival
    Vans Warped Tour
    Family Values Tour
    Anger Management Tour

Between 1989 and 1995, the Grateful Dead had 15 shows scheduled, but only played 14. In 1995, a large group of fans stormed a rear fence at the arena in an attempt to enter the show without paying admission. The band was forced to cancel their last concert.

Phish also performed and recorded their August 13, 1996 show at the venue. The show was later released in a live album. The band has played at the arena a total of 25 times.

Rihanna was scheduled to perform at the venue in 2010, but the show was canceled due to low ticket sales.

Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers performed at the venue in 2013 and set a new attendance record for the music center with more than 24,000 fans attending the show.

Something New For Fans Of Scotty

Hey everyone I told you we would be adding new things to the site and here is the first thing we are adding.  We've created a forum for Scotty fans to meet and read and post about our favorite NC singer.   Click on the link below and head on over and see what's going on in the forum.

On concert nights we plan on posting as many tweets, pictures, etc on the forum as we can.  That way the ones of us that cannot be at the concert can still see how great Scotty did!
P.S.:  It's still a work in progress so bear with us as we work out all the kinks.

Hey everyone!

Just wanted to make a quick post and let everyone know why the site has not been updated much this year.  Life has been very busy for Tarah and I, leaving very little time for either one of us to keep up with the site.  Well, things have slowed down (somewhat) in my life and a good friend and Scotty supporter, Craig has offered to help keep the site updated.   We are in the process of adding new things to the site, as well - so stay tuned there's more great things coming your way!!
