Scotty McCreery will be performing at Indian Ranch, Webster, MA tonight

Indian Ranch has been hosting live outdoor entertainment since 1946, making it one of the oldest concert venues in the country. It is an outdoor amphitheater situated on the shores of a beautiful lake with a record long name… Lake Chargoggagoggmanchauggagoggchaubunagungamaugg! The folklore translation of the name is “You fish on your side of the lake, I fish on my side of the lake, nobody fishes in the middle”. Kids have fun learning to pronounce the name and our lake souvenirs are a popular item.

Indian Ranch is the most intimate live concert venue in New England. The Summer Concert Series at Indian Ranch offers our music audience an opportunity to see their favorite artist in an intimate setting. Every seat nestled between the scent of pine trees has a premier view of the stunning amphitheatre stage with the backdrop of the portrait cove of scenic Webster Lake.

For the past 65 years Indian Ranch has been known as the County Music Capital of New England. This is truly Nashville north and from Traditional country artists to the New Nashville Sound we simply provide the best in the business for your live intimate outdoor concert experience.

Over the years our fans have asked us to expand into other types of music bringing the Indian Ranch experience to a new audience of music fans. While we have had a few classic rock acts in the past, we are expanding this year to include more classic rock, roots rock and acoustic music.

Sixty Five Years of Music Tradition
Indian Ranch has been New England’s premier country music destination for decades and this is our 65 Year Anniversary Celebration season.  Johnny Cash, Willie Nelson, Loretta Lynn, Charlie Daniels, George Jones…The giants of Country Music all part of the Indian Ranch Tradition.

Indian Ranch has been the launching pad for emerging country artists paving their way to stardom. Toby Keith, Brad Paisley, Lee Ann Rimes, Keith Urban, Kenny Chesney, Blake Shelton, Billy Ray Cyrus…all names that went on as the future of Country Music from Indian Ranch.  Please join us as we celebrate this anniversary year milestone at each concert this coming season.

Early Beginnings
Ernest Wallis, a local Native American, created a humble resort on Webster lake in the 1940′s. He leased the property to George “Hillbilly” Mahoney, who along with his wife Florence operated the business and booked the entertainment for the first 10 years. George himself was a performer who was well known on the radio circuit and often performed at the Ranch with his talent partner “Dixie”. The seats were originally made of wooden logs and part of the amphitheatre stage which still exists today came from the “showboat” which hosted live entertainment on the lake prior to the existence of Indian Ranch.
