Posting Comments

First off, I really appreciate everyone that visits this site and enjoy reading the comments and receiving e-mails from you. I enjoy doing this site and finding things for every McCreerian to enjoy and I know that Tarah, Hailey and Gloria, also enjoy doing this site, or we wouldn't even bother trying to keep it updated with the latest news, videos, pictures, etc of Scotty.  It has been stated from the day Hailey created this site that no negativity would be tolerated and yet people still posted them. We have been very lenient on some of the comments that have been posted, but I felt today's comments just went a little to far.  Not only were people bashing other artists but they started bashing each other and for the life of me I cannot understand why or how it gets to this level.  This fan site was created for everyone's enjoyment and to keep people up-dated on Scotty's career not for people to come on here and bash other artists or bash each other for that matter. It has already been said many times on here that if you want to post negative stuff or fight with other fans there are plenty of other fan sites out there that will allow you to do that, but this fan site has not and never will allow that to happen.

For some of you that do not know this, I work 6 days a week and attend college 4 hrs a night on my only day off, so therefore, I have very limited time to monitor the comments on the site.  Plus, I have tried very hard to not have to monitor this site so closely and make it to the point that you have to jump through hoops to post a comment, but after what I've read today I feel I have no other choice but to change the way comments are posted on the site.

From this point on if you wish to leave a comment you will only be able to do so through your Google Account.  If you do not have a Google Account you can create a Gmail account and that will allow you to post a comment.  Also, from this point on every comment will be sent to an e-mail address for approval before it posts on the site.  So, you may post a comment in the morning but it may not show up until later that day after the moderator has time to review it and approve it.  The only other option I can see is to just stop allowing comments all together and I don't really want to do that. I apologize to the people that visit this site and leave only good comments, but at this point I don't feel I have any other choice but to do this.  Thanks again to all of you that visit the site - we truly appreciate it! If you have any comments about this post feel free to e-mail them to me at

Now let's move on and see what else Scotty has in store for all of us in 2013

Scotty McCreery Previews Another New Song in ‘Rock This Night’

Scotty McCreery continues to preview tracks from his upcoming sophomore project with ‘Rock This Night,’ yet another new song he’s been sampling in his live performances lately, much to the delight of McCreerians everywhere.
If McCreery is hoping to introduce his new album to country radio with a sexy mid-tempo track, than ‘Rock This Night’ is an excellent candidate. Despite his status a Platinum-selling country music superstar, the North Carolina native has yet to hit his stride at radio — a notion McCreery understands going into his new album.
“You know, in the last year I’ve won awards, I’ve had sold out shows across the country, but I haven’t had that big radio hit yet,” the ‘American Idol’ told Taste of Country. “So that’s my mission right now. So I’ve got to go out there and try to find it.”
If ‘Rock This Night’ isn’t chosen as his next single, the singer has superb choices with ‘Suntan’ and ‘See You Tonight,’ both of which were also previewed live recently. ‘See You Tonight’ is McCreery’s only co-write of the bunch, but the former ‘American Idol’ winner hopes to show off his ever-evolving writing talents soon.
“Some of the guys from Nashville will follow us on the road so in our spare time we can write, and [I'll also] find a few days for me to go to Nashville [to write] as well, so I’m excited,” the student by day, singer by night says. “It will be the first time for me to have a cut of mine on the album.”
McCreery’s forthcoming studio album is the follow up to his 2010 ‘Clear as Day’ debut, which produced the Top 15 song, ‘I Love You This Big.’ The North Carolina State University coed is currently criss-crossing the country on his Weekend Roadtrip 2013 Tour — his first headlining outing.
