Scotty McCreery at the NC State Game

Behind-The-Scenes at College Game Day Credit to: ncstateathletics

Thank you Kathy for e-mailing this picture of Scotty & Will to us! This picture was tweeted by Will Privette. He is the young man(NC State student) who got "famous" after the Duke/NC State game for "storming" the court in his wheelchair. He was being pushed by the NC State student body president. Will got knocked out of his wheelchair and the star of the NC State basketball team scooped him up and held him while they both cheered for several minutes. The basketball player probably saved Will's life! The story has been all over the internet and on national news shows. Thought it was nice that Will got this photo with Scotty today before the UNC/NC State game. Will Privette @Thrill21 @ScottyMcCreery and me chillin on the court #rollpack

Scotty McCreery will be performing at the Country Radio Seminar on Feb 27th

Scotty McCreery has signed on to perform at the upcoming Country Radio Seminar, to be held on Feb. 27 inside the Performance Hall at the Nashville Convention Center. He joins Dustin Lynch and Grand Ole Opry members Brad Paisley, Darius Rucker and Vince Gill as part of the all-star lineup. This special performance of Country music's institution will kick-off the two-hour event, which follows the annual CRS Artist/Attendee Welcome Reception, for the first time in the seminar's history.
“Every week, the Grand Ole Opry showcases an unforgettable, one-of-a-kind mix of country music’s new stars, superstars, and legends for country music fans from around the world," Opry Vice President and General Manager Pete Fisher said, in a statement, as reported by Music Row. "We’re excited to deliver a special show featuring some of radio’s biggest current hit-makers who are also some of the most popular artists who visit our stage for all our friends in country radio when CRS returns to town next month."
CRS Executive Director Bill Mayne boasts:
“This marks the first time in the history of the seminar, which is over 40 years, that we welcome the Grand Ole Opry to our stage. It has been a long time coming, but will be well worth the wait. My thanks to Pete Fisher and the Opry staff for allowing me to present this show on the opening night of CRS 2013, as both events are such a great fit for each other.”
More performers will be announced in the coming weeks.
