Country music superstar Scotty McCreery has had a blindingly rapid rise to stardom since he became American Idol's youngest male winner at age 17, as well as the show’s first country male winner in 2011.

The Garner, NC native quickly emerged as one of Country music’s most successful new artists after the release of his debut album, Clear As Day. The album topped the Billboard Top 200 and Top Country charts, earning him a spot in the Guinness World Records Book for being the youngest male in history to score a No.1 album on the all-genre chart with a debut release.
Clear As Day also garnered the highest sales of any country solo album released that year, held the No. 1 spot on the Billboard Top Country Albums chart for six weeks and earned Platinum status in just three months. The album’s first two singles, “I Love You This Big” and “The Trouble With Girls,” were also certified Gold.

The hot streak continued as Scotty went on to win New Artist of the Year at both the 2011 American Country Awards and the 2012 Academy of Country Music Awards. He also picked up the USA Weekend Breakthrough Video of the Year for "The Trouble With Girls" at the 2012 CMT Music Awards. McCreery was ranked No. 1 on Billboard's list of Top New Country Artists in 2011 and also ranked No. 4 on Billboard’s list of “21 Under 21: Music’s Hottest Minors 2012,” for his second consecutive year.

His 2012 holiday release, Christmas With Scotty McCreery debuted at No.1 on the Billboard Top Seasonal Albums chart and was certified Gold in just five weeks.
Scotty has toured with Brad Paisley and The Band Perry, and recently launched his first headline tour, the Weekend Roadtrip Tour 2013. In between tour dates and recording his upcoming new album, McCreery also balances college life while pursuing an undergraduate degree at N.C. State University.

  5. Yes thanks Donna for all you do , you are a BLESSING to Scotty and his fans. Yes it is fishy but who else than LA fans . This will make Scotty not in the top 5 so please everyone get the word out and vote a little everyday Please !!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  6. I agree with Stylin 7:54 AM. I've been voting for Scotty on Cody for 2 hours and watched Henningsens and Luke getting closer and closer to Scotty. The strange thing is that no matter how many votes they are getting they are both only one point apart. Example: Henningsens 126,428 Luke 126,427 than Henningsens 126.516 Luke 126.515. It just seem unusual to be so close and yet both climbing up the ladder equally. Something is fishy.

I have been flipping them back and forth but haven't heard him yet. Hopefully they will all start playing him. 12. Scotty McCreery tickets are setting a WWS record for how fast they are selling!!! We have never had a concert sell so many tickets so quickly. We have a feeling that this concert will be sold out in record time so make sure you get your NOW so you don't miss out on this great opportunity!! The show is scheduled for Friday, June 28th, 2013 and everyone 18 and older is welcome.
This was tweeted by WWS today. I' m so happy for Scotty. They srnt another twet that Scotty fans were coming from all over -"He's worth the drive" . They are really promoting him on their website. Thank you WWS. Also, Scotty is sold out or close to it for the concerts this weekend. We love him up here in the NE. Hopefully we can get the dreaded Cumulus owned station in NYC play him. A lot of the other stations are playing SYT in NJ and PA. Hopefully more and more stations will keep adding him. I agree Cody is fishy, but as long as ge stays in top 5 they will pkay him. He needs it since the other artists are already being played.
