  1. I cant stand when ticket liquidaters stubhub and other sites like that its like a professional legal ticket scalpers . They buy up all the tickets and double and triple the cost of the tickets .the artist and venue only get the original price while those companies profit big time .the problem is for one thing they have some of Scotty tickets on the floor for 150 to 300 dollers they nail the consumer fans . The artist make money but many times those seats are so over priced that they dont sell and remain vacant . Its sad they dont care because they make si much money on the other tickets . The least they could di was donate the remaining tickets to some organization or radio station . When i saw Scotty with Brad i paid 200 for each tickets so 400 for 2 tickets for seats that acually cost 69 dollers .i still had to look threw binoculars . The good tickets on the floor was like 280 to 350. Front row was upwards to 800 to 1000 if those tickets dont sell they remain empty many artist hate this. they feel they should donate those sests . Thought i would share that with you.

    1. Yes, you are not the only one really mad about it. Ticketmaster is the bigget racket. I saw Scotty at all different venues and my favorite was at the VT Statd Fair fir $25. Scotty was amazing and gave extra to the huge audience that was there because of the hurricane we all waited through to see him. Personally, as a fan I would feel safer if they sold these tickets like airline seats and if you cant go you can turn them back in a few days before tge show so they could be resold to someone else. I think the tickets should have your name printed on them and you should have your ticket and id out when they screen you as you enter. They do this very efficiently at the airports. This would take care of all this scalping. I have called Ticketmaster several times about their unethical practices and have complainec to the venues. I would see many more shows if I didn't feel like I was getting ripped off and the artists don't make the money. Miley Cyrus was really upset about this severalyears ago. It would make me feel safer and the artisr would be much safer if they had info and name on all the tickets and made tgem nontransferable. You can't get Gaga etcfoy anything reasonable.

  2. You know you are popular if these ticket companies buy your tickets they know they can get thier price . But no artist wants to look out at empty seats .

    1. The people often on the front rows are not huge fans of tge artists - they have connections or they are very wealthy to be able to oay any price. At Yankee Stadium and other stadiums around the country the close seats are $2500 a seat. So you see lots of empty seats and a few suits come from the company that bought season tickets and they don't know Derek Jeter from Michael Phelps. They never wear a Yankee cap and usually talk on the cell phone uninterested. It is reaaly hurting thd sports teams fan base. Onli 15 years ago you could get incredible box seats behind the Yankee dugout for $50 -100. We were season ticket holders until 3 years ago with some others and split up the games, but we couldn't afford it. Who wants to go if it's bad weather or Derek Jeter is out of the lineup and a not a very good pitcher is on the mound. We all need tospeak out about this. The tickets should be sold like airline tickets and congress needs to pass legislation about the scalping by Ticketmaster.
