On Feb. 21, “American Idol” winner Scotty McCreery
took his 2013 Weekend Roadtrip Tour to Pittsburgh and took his fans by
surprise. That’s because in the middle of his concert, he busted in to
the “Harlem Shake,” a new dance craze that’s gone viral and has replaced "Gangnam Style.”
At the beginning of the YouTube video, Scotty and his band tune up their instruments, while one member dances around in a wolf mask. Several seconds later, McCreery and his band begin dancing, as well as the entire Pittsburgh audience. Seeing a country singer do the “Harlem Shake” is just one of those classic moments you have to see and share with others. Be sure to check it out below.
Scotty posted the video close to midnight on Feb. 22, right after the show. There are already hundreds of positive comments posted on Facebook about Scotty’s “Harlem Shake.” Below are a few from Friday.
McCreery's first studio album, “Clear As Day,” debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard Top 200 and Top Country Albums charts.
