  2. I am really bummed out because our one and only country station is no longer airing county music . They were only on for 10 months. They were a sister station to a country station in another area of the state , but sold our station. I called the deejay and he has been fielding a lot of calls. They are owned by the horrible Cumulus Media . He said he didn't know why they sold it because they had a lot of listeners in our area. It sounds like they built up an audience so they could get more money when they sold to the new company. We are in the NYC market and not 1 country station. Cumulus and I Heart Radio own most of the stations around here and just terrible. The country station didn't play Scotty, but I had hope with this second album they would play him. I am from the south so this is very tough. Here in NYC market area, I have many spanish, middle eastern , rap, hard core rap, and pop stations. I am not sure I am in the USA half the time. If I go out of my small town, it is tough to find a person who speaks English as their first language. I like some diversty, but since living in this area for 27 years he attitude has changed and their is much less assimilation to our culture. If you visit NYC you see this and now it is in the smaller cities 45 minutes outside the area. Like I said I like diversty, but working in a smaller city and to get that blank stare and very limited English at my medical office and at all the retail stores and restaurants is draining. At least I had the country station to get me through the day with the hope they would play Scotty. Oh well, the deejay said they had such good response that maybe we will get another station soon. Thank goodness for streaming and cds etc to get my country fix.

We do have a oldies station that is very good that is owned by CBS. The deejay actually plays his picks with theme days. It's very nice. I am

  7. I am so excited about this headlining tour and I am sure Scotty and his family are absolutely estatic!!! What a wonderful opportunity for Scotty to be able to meet his fans (not to mention gaining new fans on the road). At first I was a little shocked that Todd would consider this, but after thinking about it, I think this is a perfect time with the new music coming out this spring. I hope he comes close to my hometown in Northwest Florida sometime this summer. I will be the first in line!!!! LOVE THIS KID!!!!!

    1. I am not at all suprised, I have felt for a while (after going to several of his solo concerts)that he was ready. The only reason that I thought it might not be possible was the number of songs he has out might not be enough and at this early point, it might not be financially doable (but I see where he has a sponsor, so that is great!) I didn't know they did that for artists tours. In addition to the pure joy of watching Scotty perform. I have learned so much about the industry from just following him.

      So excited for him!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
