Summer's Hottest Concert Special, "CMA Music Festival: Country's Night To Rock" Features Superstar Performances From A To Z, With Jason Aldean To Zac Brown Band And Everyone In Between 

Hosted for the First Time by Luke Bryan and The Band Perry's Kimberly Perry, The Three-Hour Special Airs Monday, Sept. 17 on the ABC Television Network

Luke Bryan and The Band Perry's Kimberly Perry host the summer's hottest television music event "CMA Music Festival: Country's Night to Rock" airing Monday, Sept. 17 (8:00-11:00 PM/ET) on the ABC Television Network.

"American Idol" winner and Garner native Scotty McCreery will be among the celebs taking part in the Jimmy V Celebrity Golf Classic next month.
V Foundation CEO and Jimmy V's brother, Nick Valvano, stopped by WRAL News this morning to talk about the 19th annual event planned for Aug. 26 at Lonnie Poole Golf Course on Centennial Campus at North Carolina State University. 

McCreery isn't the only celeb taking a swing for charity. The celeb golfer list also includes NBA Hall of Famer Charles Barkley, singer/actor Joey Fatone, "Bachelor" host Chris Harrison, Carolina Hurricane Chad LaRose, ESPN's Stuart Scott, Jay Harris and Trey Wingo and former "Fresh Prince of Bel-Air" star Alfonso Ribeiro.

The California State Fair ends its 2012 run on Sunday.
Courtesy of the fair's media department, here's the fair by numbers when it comes to veggies, piglets, parking and singers:
• About 1,400 pounds of produce grown at the fair's 3.5-acre demonstration garden has been donated to Sacramento Food Bank & Family Services.
• 41 piglets, five lambs, one Boer goat and 15 calves born in the livestock nursery.
• 112,438 fair-goer vehicles parked on the grounds.
