  AFTER MIDNITE host BLAIR GARNER has just announced that he will spend “a day in the life” of MERCURY NASHVILLE artist SCOTTY MCCREERY. GARNER will travel to MCCREERY’S hometown of GARNER, NC to get an in-depth look of where SCOTTY grew up, and the people that have inspired him. Exclusive audio and video from the visit will be featured on the AFTER MIDNITE broadcast next week.
  BLAIR will attend one of MCCREERY’S baseball games, spend an evening dinner with his family, and speak with friends, teammates, his high school principal, and “Miss GARNER 2012” JOHNA EDMONDS.
  “SCOTTY has had such an impact on the Country music world as an “American Idol” winner and for prioritizing his education while pursuing a career in the music industry. We thought it would be fun to go and catch SCOTTY in his own backyard for a change instead of having him come to our studio. The town has really rolled out the red carpet for us, and we can’t wait to meet everyone and catch SCOTTY on the field!”
  MCCREERY recently went back to finish his Senior year and reprise his role as varsity pitcher for his school’s baseball team.
