It's been a little over a year since Scotty stepped out from behind the register at his local Lowe's Foods and into the spotlight on American Idol. Amidst all of the chaos, one constant has remained, the strong connection he has with his hometown of Garner, N.C. This makes going back to work at his local grocery store, where he's still on the payroll, an easy decision. He is pushed out of his comfort zone as cashier, when they need help in the busy bakery department. Then the challenge is on between Scotty and high-school classmate/co-worker, Garrett at the checkout line. Will Scotty's celebrity back up the register or can he stay on track and complete the shift?

It was posted in the comments a few days ago that it would be a good idea to have people send pictures of the water towers in their town to post either on this site or Scotty's official site.

Well, I think it's a wonderful idea, but wanted to get some input from you guys as to whether we create a page here to post them on or if we just have people post them on his official site. Or any other ideas you might have.

Just post in the comments what your thoughts are on this - and we'll see what the outcome is!

Season 10 winner Scotty McCreery on coming back to perform on the 'Idol' stage and touring with some of country's biggest names.

When asked about his recent tour, he added, "It's a dream come true it's a huge blessing we're out there with Brad Paisley and The Band Perry, The Band Perry is pretty new but I've been listening to them since they came out and Brad my whole life. So just to be on the road with them and listening to them every night and singing with them every night it's a blast."
