    2. I definitely can not see where any of Scotty's songs were "rough hewn". His songs are PERFECTION! LOVE THEM ALL.

    3. 11:32 rough hewn ? why would you agree with that it's not positive. You and taste of country have no idea what your talking about . Here we go again.

    4. He's only 19 -- what does TOC expect!? Rough-hewn or not, his charm is still attractive, and real!

    2. Scotty is in no way rough-hewn or rough anything. You're right, he is SMOOTH.

    3. I think some in the industry are just giving him a tough time BECAUSE he can really sing! He has the voice and the charm, and he outshines a lot of the other "stars" who've been around longer. Plus, he sings covers even better than the original versions! I mean, "Baby Lock Them Doors..." will always be Scotty's song for me! ;D

    4. from 1:04 PM -- will just add that, performing on stage in front of thousands and interacting with that kind of audience is totally different from just standing still or sitting on a stool and singing. I think Scotty has tremendous stage presence and really owns the stage he is on every single performance - and he really does connect with his audience. Sometimes "rough hewn" is attractive.

  6. Where can it be verified regarding the NC State Fair? I will be visiting from Nova Scotia and need to verify before I make arrangements for my itinerary.

  7. How does one get an answer to a comment regarding verification of the NC State Fair? In planning a family reunion events like this need to be certain and yet, I get no response from whomever posted the event. If something hasn't been announced on Scotty's official fan club page then I would like to know where else I can get verification from. There is a lot of money at stake here so you understand why this is necessary.

  9. I was thinking the same thing. They will sell out very quickly and will add another day like last year, I bet. Hometown folk love him. I will go this time if my hubby will go with me. He loves Scotty too and he used to live in Raleigh so we can visit some school chums of his.
