  1. The crowd was wild for Scotty. Think they were disappointed he was not nominated or that he didn't perform. He looked freat,

  3. Thanks to all here who spent the year ripping and and critiquing Scotty, Lauren HH Carrie and others. The results were Scottyas a presenter!!! Although he could outsing and out voice most at CMAzlast evening he got to stand there with someone outside of the Country Music World ... Perfect for his career. You did your job girls the agenda was carried forth. Scotty could have owned the place last night but you chose the selfish path. Hopefully he will be strong and branch out to include those who can further his movement to the very top. When he moves forward this next year that will bring him the superstardom he deserves and his friendships with his Idol friends will gain him the momentum. The little girly stuff will play out and he will be the new leader of CMA. Wake uplittle girls and allow him the directions to the top not the shallow words. Thanks again..and Scotty you were the best dressed last night! Love you !!

    3. WOW 6:43 I don't even know how to respond to that statement. Just to clarify something the ones of us that run the site are not "little girls" and we do not have shallow opinions about Scotty & his career. Secondly, for someone who thinks this is such a "shallow" fan site you seem to visit it an awful lot & for that I thank you!

I'm a little confused though I'm not sure how we at Fansofscotty should take some of your comments. Obviously, you think this little ole fan site has some influence with TPTB if you really think the comments kept Scotty from getting nominated! That's very flattering to think about but trust me we don't have that kind of power & never claimed to have it. Secondly, you really have no clue how the industry works or you wouldn't have made such a silly accusation as this!

      Have a great day!

    5. To 6:43 - The only thing I agree with you on is that Scotty was the best dressed. I thought he did a great job last night.

    6. I agree!! Donna and girls, you do a FANTASTIC job for Scotty & for us his fans!!! Scotty is a CLASS act to go on CMA in spite of their snubbing him !!! I was thrilled to hear the crowd screaming for him!! HE WAS BEYOND WONDERFUL!!!

    7. 11:25: You don't know how to respond to 6:43 as there is no way to communicate with one who has had break with reality. They are delusional in persistance of LA fantasy and just like LA, they don't care how inappropriate the behavior is. The comment is nothing but a transparent grasp to push LA. We all know these people could care less about the other AI contestants and Scotty's connection with em. They persist in attempt to tie Scotty back to period of his life as it's about all they or LA have left to hang onto. They can't bear reason or logic as that pokes holes in delusional belief system. They cling to the delusion regardless as they can't see outside of a delusion. Therefore, I say let them wait it out. We know that there is no S & L; but, I guess it will take many yrs of disappointment and suffering for those that have to learn everything the hard way. I used to think of it as obsessional fantasy but it's escalated to delusion for the remaining few. I'm not worried about anything they say as I know they suffer disappointment of unrealistic expectations, far more than we do. Let em pull up a chair and watch as Scotty soars so high that LA is unable to be seen as even speck on ground. They're the ones who suffer, not us. We know that Scotty's career is on track and that his delay is only temp. disappointment for us. For them it's indefinite and perhaps eternal. If they want to watch what's ahead for Scotty and Lauren; let em. It's their funeral not ours. The more we argue this with em, the more than dig in deeper so while it seems almost without mercy to insist they watch and yap of delusion, I say give em a front row seat so as not to miss a moment of the reality that's ahead for all of us.

    8. Thanks Donna, for giving a very level-headed, accurate, polite response to 6:43.

IMO as a fan of Scotty, this person thinks Scotty needs to be in a box, where his success comes from his association with other artists. It really is an insulting comment. We fans here at Fans of Scotty, recognize Scotty's success comes from his beautiful singing voice and on another level from the really great respectful person he is! Of course, when other artists are mentioned, as fans there will be varying opinions, (we're not Scotty) and the comments will vary from like to dislike. As fans its all about personal choice, in who we respect as a singer and as a person. Its totally unfair 6:43 for you to come down on the wonderful administrators of this site for allowing Scotty fans to express their opinions. And by the way, there are many favorable comments about other artists like HH and Carrie on this site, as well as artists who have been on AI. eg: I think Carrie has an amazing voice, and I love her song "Blown Away". So please don't speak for all of us!

    9. 1:18pm I agree, with what you've said, its the underlying reason for 6:43's sour grapes comment! I loved seeing Scotty present with Shawn Johnson, especially since she had Scotty's song "Back on the Ground" on the video she made for the Olympics. Excellent pairing!!

    10. Oops, I didn't know when I had my little tirade of 1:18 that I was speaking to Donna and therefore realize she had already addressed 6:43 issue I didn't intend disrespect to her comment anyway, but would not have said my peace had I realized she had already spoken to issue....sorry.

      Delete
    11. 4:08 - It's alright I didn't think you were disrespecting my comment and it's alright that you spoke your peace - you have a right to do that - no need to apologize.

Thank you all for the support you show to all of us that work to keep this site going daily. You guys are the reason we keep the site going! It's hard to believe that Hailey started this site when Scotty was still on AI and here we are about to end another great year of him being a country superstar and looking forward to what 2013 holds for Scotty & his fans!

  4. Again Scotty gets ripped off at CMA. He is so nice too nice and sometimes that keeps you down. But I have faith this next year he will grow and do all sorts of new projects. His godliness will keep him in the light and his love of all people will be an example for others. Bless you my knight!

  5. Instead of having S&L rule CMA the people preferred the blip on a screen. Yeah!!!! Really???? Guess they got the wish. Scotty and Lauren could have outdone it all! Even Carrie was a bit flat and Blake nice but too much!! Let the new generation take over Pleeeease !!E

    1. 7;15 you people need to get some help what is wrong with you ?LA has nothing with Scotty .

    2. Well, I rather see Scotty wait for his awards, than sell out for the artistic equivalent of tabloid journalism. Short term sleaze isn't the way to go for artist as talented as Scotty. The new generation will take over as they always do. But LA just isn't a part of it and never earned her way from AI forward. She is receeding into background and Scotty is just temporarily idling on runway for a bit, til he soars in ride that will stay in flight. No need taking off with a co-piolot that can't fly as that act would crash and burn; then neither soars. Rather see Scotty setting on runway than trying to hit destination with a puddle jumper. Coming off AI runner-up LA got a glimpse of that runway, but blew any hopes she had of clearance for take off. She won't be seeing the runway again for long time, if ever. She's gonna be back to hawking her trade at the honky tonks where she came from.

  6. what on earth? I thought we were all for Scotty no matter what. He is still very young in the country music world. He has next year for the CMAs. His new manager is going to be very sure he gets to grow. And he will do this as a solo artist. The crowd was very positive and the interviewer seemed to really enjoy talking to him. As Scotty said he is moving up little by little. Presenting is not as good a performing, but at least he was there. And compared to some of the of the other "young" acts, he knows how to present himself. A very classy guy. Let's enjoy Scotty - next year is going to explode.

  7. Don't really understand the above comments (some of them anyway) but Scotty looked smashingly good up there on stage and did what he was supposed to do as well as anybody else on the show, not trying to show off or draw attention to himself in an inappropriate manner. He is so classy, humble and not trying to steal limelight from others. His day will come and I will be in the front row cheering him on when it happens! Great job, Scotty!!!!

I saw an add that said CMA Country Christmas was going to be on TV December 20th. Can't wait for that!!

    1. I just watched replay so didn't get to watch real deal, but I didn't see anything to indicate he looked uncomfortable. I seriously doubt if he felt hurt or shunned that we would ever see it on stage. Can't see him letting emotions get the better of him over this at all. If anything I say Scotty keeps a better perspective on what happens in the industry than we do and while we expect to see him nominated for everything, I don't think he does. He knows he needs that #1 hit and that WTT didn't do what he needed done (radio play or not). I think he'll kick it into high gear and use his competitive side to do make a #1 hit happen. I bet he'd be first to acknowledge he's in gap period, not that I don't think he didn't deserve a nomination and I don't understand why he wasn't nominated for NA other than mgt/record label politics but hopefully, that'll get fixed now with new mgt. Agree with comment above that Scotty was acting appropriately reserved and mindful that his presence on stage wasn't about him. Proper respect for his role there IMO.

  11. I will just say, that Scotty not only looks great and very classy, he also looks like he belongs on that stage, any stage. He just shines and has such poise. Nomination or not, he definitely is already recognized as a star and a force in country music!

  12. Hey everyone! Lets try to not be negative on this site! When you read something negative just do not respond to it! That way it won't have any power. We all love Scotty here and wouldn't want the comment section of this site to be shut down. This is where we come to share our love for Scotty with each other. Overlook the negative and be positive. Scotty is a Christian and would not want us saying unkind things about other artists on this site.

  15. The Boot had Red Carpet interviews. Lauren was one of the interviers and she was boring, her usual flirting and funbling for words. She didn't have a clue how to interview. As usual she drew attention to herself. She didn't interview Scotty...another girl did. She said George Strait told her he voted for her, so she says. Also Shawn Johnson told her she was a big fan of hers on Idol. Alot of guys interviewed seem to like her. She kept saying she has a boyfriend. She comes across so immature.

    1. Why on earth would she say George voted for get and Shawn was a fan of hers .its stuff like that that mace me stop liking her in the first just another to make a jab at Scotty .she's an idiot.

    2. SHAWN AND SCOTTY DID AN AMAZING JOB LAST NIGHT. THAT IS VERY RUDE THAT LAUREN WAS ACTING LIKE THAT. SUPPOSE ACT PROFESSIONAL WHEN YOU INTERVIEW PEOPLE NOT BEING IMMATURE. THAT'S TERRIBLE.

    3. I just checked out the referenced interview and I have have never witnessed anything so emabarrassing ever. LA was co-hosting? I have never never never, seen anyone, any where make everything about themselves let alone when they are to be interviewing. OMG I just couldn't watch it all. They seemed to make sure they got Scotty in there before LA joined the Boot interviewer. Thank Goodness.

    4. I agree I watched it to .all I could say was how dingy .who's idea was it to have her interview she acted so goofy. I don't know what the appeal is .it was painful to watch.

    5. LA´s interviews were ridicilous. She is so full of herself I sometimes fear she´s going to burst. Interviews are posted on YouTube. We can always post a little comment

    1. Yes, I saw that. Scotty's my favorite singer but if I met anyone that performed on American Idol, I'd be saying I loved seeing them on Idol. What stands out as so special is that Shawn loved Scotty's beautiful voice singing 'Back on the Ground' so much she used it in her Olympian video. Wow! I think the pairing of Scotty and her was a perfect choice for presenting!!!

  18. Scotty has the advantage of super parents. It shows everyday. And his respect for them is so precious. He never says "I" it is always "we". He is a great gentleman and a great singer. God loves him, and so do I!!
