  2. I found free online radio its live365 you can type Scotty mccreery and the stations who play him . They play country and Christmas any genre you want its really cool. I put it on in my Salon now I don't have to listen to the goofy radio stations who don't play Scotty.

  5. Love that TC seems to be right there in the mix w/twitter, etc!
Also hope we can hear a Pia/Scotty duet. Scotty really hasn't
done any duets other than the AL... shame because he's such a
great performer. Think collaboration would only strengthen his
    career.

  9. Hi,

I just got home from seeing Scotty at The Beacon. We had a spectacular day in the city!

Seeing my most favorite singer at my most favorite theater was just plain AWESOME!!! WOW, WOW, WOW!!! If any of you have a chance to go The Beacon, when you visit NYC, then you should. It is a beautiful, ornate, and original theater.

Scotty was MAGNIFICENT!! I saw him last week at the MA show, but that was a radio sponsored show and Scotty didn't have enough time to sing all his CAD songs like tonight and he sang only 4 CWSM songs. Scotty is ALWAYS great, but I wanted more(I know I am selfish) at that show!! Every time I see him it's like he comes out on stage and then he's gone - the time flies by.

Tonight, he came out singing Walk In The Country then sang all the the CAD songs except CAD and OKJ. Mixed in were The Dance, Letters from Home, That's Alright Mama, Check Yes or No, Trouble, Constant Sorrow and the encore Gone.

He also sang Let It Snow-duet with Pia, Jingle Bells, Holly Jolly Christmas, SCIBIT, Christmas in Heaven, Winter Wonderland.

He came out singing WITC then sang some CAD songs. He stopped and introduced Pia and said how beautiful she looked (she looked beautiful in a gorgeous black dress)and Jared ??? and then Pia and Jared sang a duet together. Scotty came back out with Pia and Jared and they announced that all proceeds from the Pia/Jared duet song downloaded on ITunes would go to the hurricane relief fund.

Also, Scotty announced that a portion of the ticket sells would go to the relief fund and a big check for $5000 was brought out on stage and presented to some of the relief fund representatives.

Scotty then did Let It Snow with Pia. It was great!! Scotty can sing with anybody and Pia looked and sounded beautiful. Scotty is extremely talented singer and performer. Pia is a phenominal singer and her duet with Scotty and the duet with Jared were very, very good! Pia left the stage and Scotty continued to sing the rest of his Christmas songs. He then sang some more of his songs and covers then finished with Trouble and the encore was Gone.

He is was so charming as he spoke to the audience saying many of the things you have all heard, but then talked about the hurricane and how he wanted to help in any way he could and couldn't believe Halloween and Thanksgiving passed and it is "dagum" Christmas almost. It was the cutest thing. Wow he is charming.

I was sitting in the back of the theater in the center section and saw Scotty's mom sitting in the back on the side and then his dad came down and took some of the pictures he posted.

After the show they were over on the side talking to some fans and I caught Mike's attention and told him how much my family loves Scotty and he said that he really appreciated that and thanked us for coming out to see Scotty.

It was a great night!! Unfortunately, I didn't video or take pictures, but I hope someone did

  10. P.S. The Beacon theater holds 2829 seats. Scotty didn't sell out. We were downstairs and you can't see the upper level seating, but the main floor was full with exception to a few rows in the back on the side of the theater. I know a lot of people were in the balcony, but not sure if full. A lot of fans yelling out that they loved him and we all yelled and whistled and a few stood here or there. The crowd loved him.

  11. Thank you so very much for your recap. How I wish I could have been there too.

  12. I was there too..it was AWESOME.Scotty never fails but to put on great energetic show.I was around some young girls who had never seen Scotty live!WOW..were they on fire, screaming, dancing and singing along. It was great and they vowed to make every effort to see more of his shows.

My only criticism of the show ..and this only me! I find it very difficult to remain seated at a good concert, which for the most part happened at this concert. If EVERYBODY would stand and join in as they ALL did for GONE it would have been more over-the-top than it already was.I understand that there are peeps who cannot stand for a good length of time but I can tell you as an artist Scotty loves to have everybody up and getting energised..it pumps him up!!!I know there will never be a happy medium on this subject.

To reiterate Scotty was awesome, the duet with Pia was exceptional treat. The Theater was beautiful retaining alot of its character and personality from days gone past. The staff were very helpful at all times. We were lined up to the back of the building waiting to get in and it was amazing yet again to see so many SCOTTY FANS supporting him.The show was not sold out ,I think in most part due to the day and time selection of this show.7.30/8.00 would have been more appropriate for majority of people and Black Friday ,not the most opportune day to venture into the city. The traffic was insane, but would do it again ..in a heartbeat.

    1. Sounds like another great Scotty concert and a NY audience with excellent self control - lol.

Can you say roughly how much the concert sold? Judging from videos it looks like an attendence of aprox 80 %. What´s your guess ?

    2. Yes, I was there (I am 12:31) and I was at Mass show last Friday. We all stood a lot of the time at the Mass show, but last night people preferred to sit. I was sitting on an aisle seat so I finally stood next to my seat so I could boogie in the back without obstructing a view. Scotty's mom, Judy, sat in the back the entire show. His dad, Mike, sat back there for part of the show taking pictures, but was roaming around.

At the end of the show, I told his Dad, who was nearby, how much we loved Scotty. He thanked me and appreciated us coming out to see Scotty. I told him it was our priviledge and we are fans for life. He's wonderful and puts a smile on our face! He thanked me. They are very genuine and gracious.

I really wanted to stand when Scotty came out, but I've been to many shows at The Beacon (not recently)and have never stood during the concert. There was great energy in the building and fans were yelling I love you Scotty throughout. This one fellow (20's) with a female in front of me was hooting and yelling out a lot.

The crowd was all ages and loved Scotty. As we waited in line to go into the theater, a lady approached me and wanted to know if she should get tickets for her and her grandson who was 8. If it was appropriate. I quickly told her who Scotty was and Yes it was very appropriate. There were lots of kids there. I said 2 to 90 year old men and women love Scotty. I don't know if she decided to get tickets because it was show time. As, I said the orchistra was full except a few rows in 1 section in the back (behind me) and they had plenty of people in the balcony, but you couldn't see up there too well. He definitely had a good crowd there.

As Scotty mentioned during the concert, there is so much to do in NYC and it was Black Friday. The Nutcracker had opening night at Lincoln Center and I don't know, but I'm sure some sports teams were playing. NYC is a very vibrant town.

We took the 45 min train ride from CT in to Grand Central and had a great day doing many things, had dinner, saw Scotty, then walked down to Times Square to do a little shopping. Then took the train in and got home about 11:30 last night.

I think the NY crowd was very impressed with Scotty.
