Christmas With Scotty McCreery marks a high point in his already remarkable career

Scotty McCreery, Christmas With Scotty McCreery
Scotty McCreery's first Christmas album, fittingly titled Christmas With Scotty McCreery, marks a high point in the American Idol's already remarkable career. After reaching No. 1 and going platinum earlier this year with his debut album, Clear as Day, McCreery lends his rich baritone to the Christmas songs he loved growing up in North Carolina. Produced by Mark Bright, who's famous for capturing Carrie Underwood's signature sound, "Let It Snow" and "Mary Did You Know?" stand out among the album's 11 tracks. You can catch McCreery on the CMA Country Christmas special on ABC on Dec. 20.

  2. " his already remarkable career " and all done without airplay. What kind of business would deliberately shun such a successful, kind, charming, warm, loving, down to earth person with obvious talent? I, for one, don't understand radio's blatant lack of interest in playing Scotty McCreery's music. It must be politically motivated,as example, money exchanging hands or something even more vile. This young man is extremely talented and a good person. His vocals are fantastic. With that said, radio executives need to take an extensive look at their lives and what they prefer to promote. A change in attitude is long overdue. The public wants to hear Scotty's music. Who rules you anyway??? Are you opposed to Christian people "making it" in the world of music? What is your problem??? We would really like to know!!

    2. It does make you wonder, doesn't it? Especially the Christian connection Scotty has. I mean just look at what the NFL has done to Tim Tebow. A lot of the sports casters are horrible to him. I have often wondered if Scotty's proclamation of Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior at his fan based award wins has turned the powers that be in country music against him. It seems like our country is becoming more and more intolerant of Christians in many areas. I really don't understand it.

  3. I took a 4 hours trip the other day and had country music on just to listen for Scotty. They played Christmas music and it wasn't even close to the quality of Scotty's voice. I am so disappointed in the radio stations. Scotty is the best ever and for some reason they are ignoring his talent. I know it will happen in time because they just won't be able to get away with it forever because SCOTTY IS HERE FOR THE LONG HAUL AND THEY BETTER GET WITH THE PROGRAM.

  4. I agree with the above, he is going places and it isn't even with radio play but it upsets me so much when you hear everyones songs but his its sad they would even think of treating not only Scotty but anyone that way that isn't saying much for radio but like you said I guess their's someone behind all of this nonsense. He has worked just as hard as the other ones out there probably harder and he is even doing it going to college. He is THE BEST ARTIST AND THAT VOICE WELL it goes far beyound them. Scotty we are so very proud of you and as my favorite quote you say, Love It, "ITS ALL GOOD" because hey GOD HAS BLESSED YOU BIG TIME and Dang YOUR ONE IN A MILLION. ILYTB
