What about the posting below regarding a possible show in Birmingham, AL on Dec 13th or 14th? Man, he's on the move....
ReplyDeleteI am so glad to see shows popping up - I had read that he might have disband his band if he didn't get anything after the Brad tour. Hopefully he won't have to and they will all be in demand. His band has grown by leaps and bounds just like our Scotty
ReplyDeleteJust my opinion but with Scotty's star continually rising, I don't think for one minute he doesn't have a tour lined up, if that's what he wants, and I think, his band and him, like you said, have grown by leaps and bounds and will be together for many years to come!
DeleteIn NC again?
ReplyDeleteIf he has to disband his band, how will he make his next album? I wish this wasn't mentioned. Couldn't bear to lose him.
ReplyDeleteI dont think they use his band in the studio.
ReplyDeleteSCOTTY YOU'RE SO GREAT

BEFORE I FORGET, I WANT TO INCLUDE "THE DANCE" OF SCOTTY MCREERY PLAYLIST ON SCOTTY CONCERT IN LANCATER CALOFORNIA
I am pretty sure Scotty knows who he going to be touring with next year already, just like he did last year, just could not let the "cat out of the bag" -- the artist who is inviting him to tour will make the announcement at the appropriate time. Scotty's band has had a great year. The guys may actually enjoy a little bit of time off during the holiday season. Most of them are married and maybe have kids. I think the notion that Scotty's band will have to disband is totally farfetched.
ReplyDeleteI am wondering if the concerts at the Ryman on 12/8/12 are going to be regular concerts or Christmas concerts, maybe a little of both? That would be a great opportunity to promote the Christmas album.
It would be nice to know for sure if he will be there. In July Oshkosh had their big country music fest. BP, TBP, KU,and some other big names that I can't remember now were there and they were saying Scotty was going to be there, which seemed logical with BP and TBP, but that wasn't the case. By saying THEY I mean the t.v. Disappointing, probably my only chance to see him. Hope not though. So wait till you see his name. Does anyone know where this casino is? I keep looking at it but don't see the location. G-ma Dodie
ReplyDeleteIt is in Cherokee, NC which is in the lower western part of the state about 6 hrs from Raleigh and only 2 1/2 hrs from my home town of Greenville, SC. I visited there many times when I was a child. At the time, they had traditional tribal dances and educational activities for all to enjoy. I haven't been there since, but I hear it is very different with the casino etc from when I was very young in the late 70's.
DeleteI may just pay a visit to my parents and take them to see Scotty. My mom adores him, too.
