  1. Nice write-up. We fans are more than well aware of what this young man can do. He is the cream of the crop, in our opinion. They don't make 'em any better than Scotty McCreery!! I love this young man so much, his voice is a gift from the Lord and Scotty has been kind enough to share it with us!! He has turned my musical world upside-down!!

    1. Absolutely true....all the Grannies for Scotty love this kid like he's one of our own. I've been around long enough to see lots of musicians come and go, but none has ever impressed me like Scotty. He just a quality young man.

  5. Guinness World Records - that's like being in an encyclopedia! When one door closes, another one opens! In this case, 2 doors - GWR & the ICM nomination! Make that 3 doors - including the great reception of his Christmas album!

  6. I love Scotty. Congratulations. My son is also in the Guinness World Records. He was a badminton world record holder in high school. He came to me (before I knew) and said, "Mom, if I was world famous, would you buy me a new car?" Of course I said, "yes". Then he showed me the Guiness World Record book he was in............It (his badminton prowess) gave him a full scolarship to ASU. (They have since discontinued that program.) Proud Mom. But I agree with all the Grandmas for Scotty. It is as if he is my own. I am still listening to CAD cd every day as I go to and from work. I never tire of it. I have pre-ordered the Christmas CD and am so looking forward to it.

  7. Thanks GWR for printing the article about OUR amazing guy! It isn't anything that every McCreerian didn't already know, but so great that you recognized Scotty's achievements also. He has worked hard and "garner"ed many awards in his short time in the spotlight. He is just good through and through. Congrats Scotty - n Thank YOU, GOD.
