  13. I am so proud of Scotty. It is very fitting that the display be in NC. It sounds like a great place to live, however, I love the Pacific Northwest.

  14. This is off topic, but just checked the current chart at Great American Country and Scotty is back to #2. We did it! Wish we could get him back to #1, but that's probably a pretty tall order. Before long, his 15 weeks will be up, so we need a new song/video to compete with.

Just love this kid so much, just like one of my own. What a role model he's turning out to be. So proud of him.

    2. Did he give his Platinum award to the museum or just leant it for the display, or is it another one meant specifically for the museum display? He did give plaques of his ILYTB Gold to his hometown & the radio station QDR - just wondering -

  16. Cool display! Congrats McCreerians getting hin back to No. 2 on GAC Top 20. That's 13 weeks?? Between CU and TS. Gotta keep him there. It seems no matter how bad TS's videos are, they move up the charts. And CU is hard to knock out of 1st place. But hey, he's holding his own with two of the most popular artists!! Pretty daggum good. Lots of new rising talents out, next year new artist's award will be interesting. Just keep up with the support!! We love this young man and he deserves more awards next year!!

  19. I turned on my country radio during the night to see if I might catch Scotty, only one time I have heard him. Anyway, HH was on as guest DJ for about a half hour. He and CU did their show in my hometown last night. He played all CU hits and his two hits. I have nothing against him at all. I think he is a nice kid who is passionate about his music, as is Scotty. I won't say he can't sing as some say, he just doesn't have the voice I love and that is SCOTTY. He is a hard working kid too, so I don't dislike him, but darn Radio and CMA's. Scotty is so super talented. We need to make his next year even bigger. And now keep him on the Top 20 on GAC. Congrats, Scotty. Love you much. G-Ma Dodie

  20. THIS IS REALLY COOL. I AM SO PROUD OF SCOTTY ON GETTING ANOTHER ACHIEVEMENT. I JUST LOVE THIS YOUNG MAN. MY SON AND SCOTTY ARE THE ONLY THINGS THAT MAKES ME HAPPY IN LIFE. GREAT JOB SCOTTY.

  21. G-Ma Dodie again. Just went back to Scotty's Idol performances again. I love seeing how mature he looks since then and how he has grown. People say Steven didn't like Scotty and I know he favored LA, but he always praised Scotty as did the others. Only YOUNGBLOOD they weren't crazy about...it was a bit goofy and SWINGING they didn't care for. Other than that he was consistently getting raves. I loved SWINGING because he said he would do it if he got the chance because he and his boys always sang that in the car. He was having fun and I think we all love seeing Scotty having fun. Some of his boys were there and didn't like the criticism he got. They were funny. It's fun going back to those times. I also listened to AMAZED on TOC Top !00 songs, it being no.3. Had I heard Lonestar first, I would have liked it. But hearing Scotty sing that first, wow, he blew me away. Same thing with I CROSS MY HEART and CITUWMH. I had to look them up and he nailed it singing TT and GS. He did all covers better, I think, even tho some would disagree, I think he sang better than Elvis!! The kid's got it. At 67 years of age, I hope I am around to see how high he soars!! Keep it up fans!!!

    1. I agree G-ma Dodie! Our Scotty does EVERY cover better than the original Artist! As much as I love Josh Turner, Scotty has a little something extra!

I'm older than you, and I don't think we have to wait much longer to see him up there where he belongs! I think his Xmas album will give him a huge boost in that direction, don't you?! GS

    2. PS...What are CITUWMH--TT--& GS?

BTW..Mike McCreery tweeted something about his "FOS" friends! So they must follow this fan site!

Good for you Donna and girls!!!

  22. Can I Trust You With My Heart by Travis Tritt. Absolutely beautiful. The I Cross My Heart is by George Strait, also beautuful. Check them out. Yes I think his Christmas album will put him up there. He sure deserves it. G-Ma Dodie
P.S. to Tina...Isn't it wonderful that he brings such joy to people. I have been blessed with wonderful, clean, moral grandchilren, 19 and 23 who have been my pride and joy and now I look at Scotty with love like he is one of them. He does that for so many people. I hope he knows how many parents and parents love him like their own. I love when I see men at his concerts with the mates, dates, or kids. And when men comment on this site. The world needs more young people like Scotty. There are many out there but we could use more. Goodnight everyone.G-Ma Dodie

  25. Did people hear thT Scotty has agreed to perform in Cranston RI in Nov because the school dept and city here in RI took away the Father/Daughter dances for our kids??the ACLU claims they are illegal Big Sisters and Brothers called our Scotty and he will be hosting the dance to bring it back for our kids! Prov journal reports that the tickets will oh be 10 dollars for this special night with Scotty, parents, and the kids grade1-6. the venue is called Rhodes and it is a beautifully restored dance hall from the 1920's that seats over 2000 people. Not surprised that Scotty and family got involved. They are so all American and care about traditions being taken away. Thank you Scotty for caring!! We are so excited to show our country we can keep our beloved traditions going here in RI! New England treasures Scotty McCreery and he IS the very best!!

  26. Scotty is a champion for what is right. I will be bringing my little first grader to Rhodes to the Father/Daughter dance to show they have no right to stop these activities for kids and Scotty will be there to honor the freedoms of this country. He will be the perfect host. The country will know we honor our traditions and the chidren will have a special addition to the program- Scotty all evening!! He is the best and his family will be honored at this occasion for caring so much!! What a person !! Scotty lives the the American dream now but he remembers the people who voted for him. WE will always honor him for this courage and character! Wow!

    1. You know, I just thought it is kind of like not having the prom or any other occasion where couples are involved because some girls or guys were not able to get a date. Why not still have it, but just open it up to everybody. I think it is great that both boys, girls, men & women can now to attend public functions with or without a date.

I think that it is really sad that the powers that be think that they have to take away the rights of some people in order to give them to others, why can't they just make sure that whatever the rights are that they are available to all people.

    2. ACLU IMO represents the cult of "political correctness" in all its boldness, in its never ending attempts to micro-manage, erode freedoms, and mold society to their bidding! In a free country they should not exist and have the right to do that! Yuck! Enough said, I better not get my dander up any further, I'll leave it at that!

  29. He's global but he does not forget his roots!!! Thanks for what you're doing in RI in Nov! Bless you and family!

  30. The grateful comments from RI are very touching! That darn ACLU they never stop with their attempts to erode traditional freedoms. I agree with 6:47am, so nicely said, "Scotty is part of the blood that founded this nation"! I think, Scotty and his family represent in the way they live their lives, all that is good and wholesome in America today! Good on Scotty, for standing up and supporting traditional freedom in RI. I Hope the dance is a joyful family time for everyone!

    1. I just listened to this! Beautiful message --- everything the McCreerys stand for and what Christmas is all about -- restoration, forgiveness and redemption. Just beautiful!!

I typed the link in my address bar (I have a new computer with a QuadCore processor), but if you can't get it that way, try typing the song title "Christmas Is Coming Round Again" on YouTube and hopefully you can get that way.
