  1. Guess what McCreerians? I had the pleasure of driving our non-profit organization's parade entry today in our town's High School Football Homecoming parade. I PROUDLY BLASTED "WATER TOWER TOWN" the entire parade route and boy did I get attention! "Friday Night Football is King"

  2. Scotty's twitter says they're adding something pretty big to the show tonight. I wonder if this is the surprise he was talking about. I can't wait to hear what they do.

    1. I feel sure it is the surprise because of referenced date. Hasn't anyone picked up something from twitter, trending or something? I am cursed with new technology.

  6. I can't believe no one has heard on Twitter or somewhere what the big addition was yet. I checked idolforums and only speculation there was possible announcement of a Christmas Tour.....I'm thinking it may have been Brad's new song. Kinda doubt Scotty would sing a Christmas song in Sept. that would just seem a little off to me. Who knows?

  7. Can't wait for videos. Just wanted to say I never watched Idol or listened to country music, like many of you, until I stumbled upon Scotty singing Long Black Train, and here I am still looking for anything and everything Scotty. Did not intend to watch Idol this past season but peaked in and caught PP and was intrigued by him. I watched all the way, hoping he would win. Something about his humility, his quirky sense of humor and his voice on a couple of songs. Don't intend on following him or buying his music. I am totally invested in Scotty. I caught some of the videos from their tour but it never came anywhere close to Season 10 tour. But tonight I watched a good bit of the final concert in Milwaukee, fast forwarding a lot. One thing I have to say is they all truly seem to enjoy each other so much, no one trying to upstage another person, no tension and no drama like we saw in the final weeks of Season 10's tour. I didn't feel that good feeling because of what went on behind Scotty...it caused a lot of tension. Too bad! These guys this year really enjoyed each other. And to add, I love KU and wanted him to judge AI just so I could see him each week, but because of the third judge inparticular, I don't think I can watch. I think they blew it with the female judges.IMO, of course

  8. 2:44 If I am understanding u correctly, I agree 100%. While S-11 offered little for me after Skylar left, the one positive I saw in Season 11 was how much these contestants really wanted each other to do well. No tension at all btwn them and such genuine support. Didn't necessarily make for high drama tv, but S-10 did have high drama and significant tension through-out. I would not have watched had it not been for Scotty. I think he kept himself out of drama as best he could which I'm sure wasn't easy being in such closed off situation w/other contestants. I liked James (&Haley) (not their style music) but he respected Scotty's talent. Anyway, I think Skylar (although unnoticed) played significant role in promoting good attitude among contestants for S-11. She was just "no drama" girl and supported everyone. I sure hope we see more of her. I too liked PP's personality, low key, no drama guy...his music style was not my thing except for Home and one other song...think it was a Billy Joel or Bob Seager #..Anyway, I wish him well. Personality wise, there was nothing not to like about any of S-11 contestants. I had made up my mind I wasn't going to watch S-12, but now they have KU, so I will get pulled in by him. Smart move. Country needed to be represented and in the two yrs. I watched, it seemed like the Country contestants were tolerated rather than respected. But with Scotty they had no choice but to take notice and I love how they took credit for picking him after he debuted #1 on BB. Anyway, I agree with you about new female judge, not impressed at all. The one thing I didn't care for either AI season was how the judges tried to influence voting, after their part was over. I don't think KU will do that. Just MO also.
