I seen on the the Grand Ole Opry's page that Scotty was scheduled for both December 7th & December 8th for shows So, I just called them to confirm what date he would actually be there. You can call them and ask to have your ticket changed to the December 7th date - the agent said they allow you to do this 1 time! Here is the number that you need to call:

Even though their website shows Scotty is scheduled for December 7th & 8th the agent said Scotty will not be appearing on Saturday, Dec. 8 -- either 7:00 or 9:30 pm.

I thought Scotty was doing two shows at the Ryman back to back, 7:30 and 9:30 on the 7th of December.

DeleteThanks so much for the info Donna. I was able to get my tickets (great seats) changed to the Friday night show. I originally thought it was a solo performance by Scotty, but apparently I was wrong. It doesn't matter as we'll still get to see Scotty up close. Thanks again. Connie

DeleteI had noticed this different concert date last night when I was looking on the Ryman web page, and I was scratching my head over this, but I thought I just didn't know what I was doing or looking in the wrong place or something. If I had bought a ticket for Dec 8 and had made travel plans and hotel reservations (like I did to see Scotty open up for Brad in Atlanta) I would have been pretty upset. I hope everyone who has purchased tickets will be able to get them switched. I just don't really understand how this mix-up could have happened. They were showing the other date/times just a couple of weeks ago. Strange.
ReplyDeleteThis has nothing to do with this topic but I think this will make everybody happy if everybody sees this video during his TTWG during BP concert @ Verizon ampitheatre in NC. He was seen talking to the crowd and they truly love him in NC ( as everybody else )
