Scotty McCreery to sing at Triple-A National Championship game

Garner native and "American Idol" winner Scotty McCreery will perform Sept. 18 during the Triple-A National Championship game at Durham Bulls Athletic Park, officials announced Tuesday.
McCreery will throw out the ceremonial first pitch and will sing "Take Me Out to the Ballgame" during the seventh-inning stretch.
The game will pit the champions of the Pacific Coast League and the International League against each other. 
Tickets, which start at $7, are on sale now through the Durham Bulls website.
