Scotty, I hope you share with your band how good your fans think they are, Love the rapport you have with them. Loved how they were as professional as you when you stepped off stage...they didn't miss a beat, but they, too, had a chuckle along with you. They are an awesome band. They seem to like you a bit too!
I also hope Scotty's Band get's shared with us a bit more. I would love to hear some individual and group interviews with his band...esp. cool to hear them talk about Scotty's big slip off stage and the back stage talk etc...guess that isn't done much...But ya'll know we consider his band like extended family as he and his family do as well.
Lucky you, 12;12. Just for fun while we await new videos and pics, What was your favorite Scotty moment, not so much a song, but a moment that you think is so special? Mine was Josh Turner's surprise visit at Scotty's homecoming celebration. Knowing how much he idolized Josh and the reaction when he came face to face with him, that was priceless.
I'm pretty sure that was one of Scotty's favorite moments, and mine, besides his winning, of course!..Another fave so far is the number of GREAT comments about his amazing instinctive reaction and recovery from THE FALL!..And joking about it all!
I hope Donna can post the latest great reviews! The links don't work for me.
That is one of my favorites too when Josh Turner's Surprise him at his homecoming celebration, now that is what you call priceless.oh from that same celebration is when his parents and sister ashley went over to him when he almost broke down crying cause the audience was being so good to him making him feel good.after that his dad told him to tell the audience that he love them.that was sweet.Scotty you do love your band and so do all of us your fans, and your band loves you too.A great bunch of guys that you got there.for A lifetime.
Just finished watching GAC's Elvis concert they have been running. I am almost 67 and was not a screaming young girl for Elvis. It wasn't till I was grown that I came to appreciate his gift. I love his ballads and his low register, like Scoty's. Remember when JLo said'Scotty everytime you go low, you get me all over again'? I think it is so sad that fame has not brought joy to many icons. Like Elvis, how sad his life was. Someone on a show, maybe GAC, made the comment that if a person is well grounded to start with, to have a stable family life he would be successful in his career. Scotty has that. Unfortunately as much as Elvis loved his momma, it was not a good life with drinking involved. He loved his God too but still fame got the better of him. I feel confident that Scotty can handle things differently, but I must admit I like seeing his family with him. That won't always be the case but for now it is good. There are so many unscrupulous women out there that would like to take advantage of him. When Tiger Woods was asked one time why he did what he did, he said, "Because I could", meaning the oppotunities were there everyplace he went and he gave into the temptations.Scotty will need to continue to stay grounded a nd relying on God to avoid those pitfalls. When I was young it was guys wanting to score or tell people they did but now girls are even bolder. But I have faith he will handle this all. BTW, I have to say Scotty sounds better than Elvis!
What sweet and insightful comments!.. It was the same with me about Elvis!..Of course my church thought he was the Devil incarnate!..But I also appreciated and really loved some of his songs later on...But never like Scotty!!..No singer has ever affected me the way Scotty has and does!!..And I also pray every day for God to keep him SAFE and keep him SWEET!..As you say there are SO MANY temptations for such a talented, good looking, charming young man!!
Can't wait till tonight's Top 20 on GAC. Hope Scotty is still up there. CU stayed there a long time with her last song. Would like him to be no.1. We will find out soon.
agree about Elvis and others that could not stay away from temptations. Scotty I'm sure can stay away. I agree that I like seeing Momma Judy on the road with him. Makes me feel better.
Me too!..I had the impression that he was alone!..So glad I was wrong!..I'm sure he would have been OK alone but that will be happening soon enough!!.. Love you Scotty!..And Mama Judy!!
my favorite moment is when Scotty was in the SUV on the hometown visit and he started crying and he looked and this little toddler in her mothers arm waving yelling I love you Scotty made him smile as he was crying . I was crying with him.
1:17 I have two favorite moments. 1st was Scotty's homecoming when he first arrived and they played Elivis's song "Hunk A Hunk Burning Love". 2nd was Scotty meeting Presilla Presley and what she said to him, " Elvis would have liked you Scotty"! There are so many others the video that was played at the finale when he sang ILYTB and his parents fighting back tears! Anyway, those are times that stand out for me!
One of my favs was his performance of Gone on Idol. All I could say was WOW. When he did the famous leap on stage. I knew right then he was going to win!!!
My fav moment was when he sang with Lauren at the Greek! My cousin was there and she tweeted me and I couldn't believe he was there for real !! I thought she was fooling me!
10:42: LOL, I'm reading along and u just spit it right out there..You go Gal, McCreerians are taking Scotty's fan site back! Light The Night! That will be a great fav moment for me as well...so 10:04 savor that one baby cause it's gonna have to last u a lifetime!. I'm betting that was Scotty's obligatory finish to AI commitments and social protocol and this fantasy is "GONE" like a hurricane and all those bad things, that aint never comin back again! Scotty's Christmas album is going to blow off the charts and pave the way for the 2'nd album to debut #1 on BB 200 AGAIN
The whole homecoming parade leaves me in tears still and first time "GONE" was performed, like 10:38 as well....wonder how many fans across the Nation leaped from sofa's, chairs etc. as I did when I saw that jump and screamed Yeeeesssss!!!! I think I cryed then too, I was so proud of him...but none of us will ever forget when he cried about the way he felt he let down the young singer (JT?) during Hollywood week...or the responsibility he took when he sat and talked w/Judges about it. He is just so darn real and good! Loved the surprise JT moment of course and the areana in Raleigh erupting at his win....his audition when he looked so darn cute. That sexy nod he gives from baseball mound in TWG video...wonder if that took many takes. I bet he got it first time. On AI tour the way he started stopping in mid-stage for a real sexy pause when singing ILYTB and then the other sexy way he handled that line from your man...how much it turns me on...for a shy innocent guy he has this innate sexy thing goin on; which just makes it all the more so...and I'm way too old to notice. Anyway, there isn't just one moment. He's infiltrated our lives.
Trying to get something positive going, about your favorite Scotty moment, and yet LA is still brought up. That was the whole piupose of trying to move on. Please!
Lots of favorite moments since the concerts, his sexy stance in Gone...long gone done me wrong..at the Pig Gig. Look at that. In WTT his curled up sleeping...want to just mother him. But Josh's surprise takes the cake in Scotty's reaction. Just think, he hasn't won yet and here your idol, the man you look up to and admire, is right in your face! Wow what a moment.
A favorite of mine was his first OPRY performances after he won and the audience reaction. Every country star's dream is to stand in that circle and sing and you could see in his performance that it was special...like I made it here. Now three times!
THAT'S PRETTY COOL.
ReplyDeleteScotty, you have a GREAT BUNCH OF GUYS for your band!! And they are LOVED VERY MUCH TOO!!!!!
ReplyDeleteGreat picture Scotty! Clearly you really love your band, and they love you too! SO COOL!! ♥

DeleteThat's a super idea. Will put it to future use.
ReplyDeleteLove the smiles on the band member's faces in the videos. All look as if they are enjoying themselves (except the drummer who is really focused).
Saw Scotty at Bethel. Wow, he is certainly athletic. Just took him five seconds to get back up and never missed a beat.

ReplyDeleteHOW COOL I WISH HIS BAND AND HIM NOTHING BUT THE GREATEST
ReplyDeleteI think it's funny that his band did that a few months ago and Scotty only saw it now! :)
ReplyDelete1:17 I have two favorite moments. 1st was Scotty's homecoming when he first arrived and they played Elivis's song "Hunk A Hunk Burning Love". 2nd was Scotty meeting Presilla Presley and what she said to him, " Elvis would have liked you Scotty"! ReplyDeleteILYTB on the finale, with his Mom crying. So touching. Definitely a special moment and a video I go back to often.
