ReplyDeleteAs a grandma, I want this as my screensaver or wallpaper on my phone. Just absolutely precious. I like to commend Scotty's boys, that they don't post his private life and tell all kinda thing. But something like this is precious. I don't think it is too private. Thanks Colin. You guys rock, too!

DeleteIt's right here. This is priceless. He looks like your average teen but Scotty is far more than average. Absolutely. Scotty, sleep whenever and whereever. And yes a Mom or Sister's touch needed in that apt, Where is the deer heaad?

Delete1:43: glad I'm not only decorating critic...7:33; of course, I realize no clutter is probable motivation plus, lack of decor typical of college boys. I wasn't looking for an explanation or critizing when I wrote original post at other blog about apt needing female touch. It was primarily intended as teasing about how boys will be boys and who but young college guys would see brown and then more brown as A-OK. Since I'm female, and love color and stylish decor, the absense of it in the apt. just jumped out at me. It's all good. No need to defend Scotty and room-mates...Just joking around and being my ever playful self. At least they don't have all those tacky beer signs and stolen street signs up ....sometimes college boys consider their empty beer bottle collections as totally chic decor, so it could be far worse...Oh jeez, who have I offended now?...no one I hope.
DeleteI never cease to be amazed that no one (and I mean no one) in Garner ever attempts to capitalize on dishing on Scotty. The character of Scotty, his family's friends and Garner community is soooo impressive. Just based on life experience one wld think there wld be at least one or two sickos in crowd that wld attempt to take advantage of proximity to Scotty. But it just doesn't happen. Colin's tweet was just too cute to pass up. The way he worded tweet was too cute and it's like he knew Scotty's fans wld love it...saying found this little guy....Even when there is rare comment from inside Scotty's immediate circle, it's always in good taste..Thanks Colin.
Agree totally. When Scotty said he was rooming with friends that he could trust, he wasn't kidding. It is such a blessing for Scotty to have friends who "have his back" like that. That is kind of rare these days, isn't it? Scotty's friends have the same integrity that he has. GOD BLESS YOU GUYS!!!

ReplyDeleteAnyone know who Scotty's other roommate is? I'm glad Scotty took the time to finish enjoying his high-school yrs b/c he's sure not getting the opportunity to experience college life as normal kid. Again, I think he's making wise decision to go ahead and sacrifice some of the college recreational life to pursue career as he can't place career on hold or secondary for four yrs. After AI, I thought he needed to get to college in Nashville, but see now his decision was best overall to ensure balanced lifestyle.

ReplyDeleteDon't know where the pic went. It's blank now. I agree with and stated, too, that it's amazing how his friends and community respect his private life. They are to be commended. This pic, I don't think is an invasion of his privacy, but Colin knew we would love it. He looks so adorable. I agree a little color would be nice, but that is their decision. It's early yet so they will accumulate items to display. I was impressed it was neat!! Have fun boys. And thanks to his buddies for respecting him.
ReplyDeleteI don't think that their apt. is going to be tacky,because Scotty came from a very neat and tidy home. U notice how his tour bus is clean also. I have all boys and they got plenty time to fix up their apt, They are not all fussy like the girls, so let them enjoy what they have, be patient with the guys. LOVE ALL OF U SCOTTY AND FRIENDS. Who specifically is attempting to stop these guys from doing anything period? And why in the world do you say "Be patient" I hate to be blunt, but what possess you to think that people want ur advice or orders as to how to be? And again no one even suggested their place was going to be tacky so why you come off with that doesn't make sense. Your comments are unnecessary and bossy toward others without cause. Everybody was joking and making their own observations on the post. Where it says "comment" on this site, it doesn't mean an open invitation for strangers on the internet to set the rest of the world straight by telling others how they should think, speak and be. Scotty nor his fans need u to do that for us; really we don't. It is annoying and no one meant any harm to these guys whatsoever. If you love us as you say, how bout some acceptance for us as we are and permitting perfectly acceptable comments without setting about correcting something u don't understand that was just light hearted relating among fans anyway?

DeleteScotty´s expression: "What in the world" is a nice way to describe my impression and thoughts when sometimes reading the discussions or whatever you´d call it. I sometimes see completely harmless comments being percieved and reacted to negatively. To me it´s like a fly gets turned into an elephant.
