  11. THAT WAS JUST PLAN AWESOME. THANK YOU BRAD FOR LETTING SCOTTY BE PART OF THE CONCERT LAST NIGHT AND ESPECIALLY LETTING SCOTTY BEING ON TOUR WITH YOU. YOU GUYS ROCK.

  12. This was an amazing concert! I went mainly hoping Scotty would show up to perform "Celebrity" with Brad, but thoroughly enjoyed all the performances. Scotty was the icing on the cake. I was so excited that I didn't get good video of him so thank you for this post. He also came back on stage for the last song with some of his friends. I hope someone has a video and will post it. He is just so darn cute!

  13. Omg ,I hope Brad has him with him next year. They just make an awesome team together. When he came out it was just so incredible. It would take until I die to Thank Brad for giving him this chance in a lifetime. He is just that amazing you heard it from the crowd, They Loved Loved Him. He is just one of a kind. That just made my day. He has an amazing journey ahead of him and I"m going to be right there with him following every step of the way. Brad you two, ROCK!!!!!Thanks again for having him tonight it was AMAZING!!!!!!

    1. You nailed it. Both of them rock !!!!

    2. I sorta get the impression that Scotty will have open invitation to tour with Brad. Brad does indeed rock. I love his song "Then" and others he does. I just saw at TOC where Keith Urban signed with AI and implication of articles is that contract was in 3 to 4 million range....whereas the other two judges earn in in mega mil. range.....I think Keith will pull more AI viewers than other judges and deserves the mega mils himself. Keith would be the only artist that comes to mind that I cld see Scotty fitting well with for tour, but now he won't be available. Still Brad and Scotty have such great chemistry and compliment each other so well. I just can't imagine any better tour headliner for Scotty. I like Tim McGraw, but can't see the tour thing with him and Scotty; although, it might work. I see where HH is touring w/Carrie and pleased for him as this should send him sailing as his career is already soaring now. So huge female artist might be good for Scotty too, but not many come to mind...Would need to be someone with lot of class...Reba or Martina maybe...but that's pretty big age gap.....sure Scotty will get it right!

  14. Isn't it great that Brad is so selfless that he let's this kid be part of his finale without worrying about Scotty tKing away the limelight. That's a kind confident professional and Scotty will do the same thing someday when he is established. The pettycreerians need not worry about other young country stars Scotty is so far above that junk he is in orbit. Great video!

  15. What was Scotty saying just before he picked Brad's guitar. All I can here is Welcome. What ever was said, Brad had a big smile on his face.

    1. Think it was just Welcome North Carolina!

    2. That's what I heard too.

    3. I like when Brad says, "welcome to the club, kid"! Like someone said here, Brad and his tour will likely always hold special memories for Scotty!

  16. I like it, I love it, I want some more of of it! Can't wait for upcoming tour dates and videos. This was so special. Thanks to Brad. I bet they have formed a deep bond from spending time together.

  17. I am getting so excited now -- the Atlanta concert is only three weeks away!! My husband thinks I'm a little obsessive (ha ha, he doesn't know the half of it!!) but he'll see how great Scotty is!! This video is awesome!! Thank you, whoever you are who filmed this!! I gotta learn how to do that with my Droid so I'll have some footage of this great concert!!

  18. He is too cute and I love Brad for treating him so great. I am sure he passes on to other celebs how great Scotty is!!

  19. What an ENTERTAINER, THAT YOUNG MAN IS GOING TO BE ANOTHER ELVIS PRESLEY. I think Scotty will be at least 6ft tall when he stops growing. By the time he is 21yrs old he is going to be one handsome guy. By that time his voice will be even deeper and richer just like pure velvet. Oh how I love him.

    ReplyDelete

    1. Does anyone know how tall Scotty is now? He must have been asked somewhere along the way.

      Delete
    2. I read somewhere, his high school registration for baseball, when he was 16 showed he was 5'10". Just guessing from pictures, I'd say he's 5'11"???

      Delete
    3. Thanks, that sounds about right. I read a comment from someone who saw him live in Atlanta, just days after AI win and the guy said "he's a little guy" and he indicated he was bit surprised. At 5"10 he wld have been on short side for guy..(which I like cause I'm short) but he seems to be at least 5'11 by now and might top out as someone said at 6'. No matter he makes a big presence. I think as some said, his voice will only get better with age.

  20. WOW!!! Thank you for the video!! NC did themselves proud!!! Way to Go!! Love, love, love Scotty and BP is terrific!! I have always liked BP, but really love him now for helping Scotty. I can't wait to see Scotty at his own show in VT on 9/8.

  21. Listening to Tim McGraw's earlier songs and current songs, his voice really changed and I can imagine Scotty's voice will get richer and better with age. He's good now, but just wait!!! I will be a fan of Brad's from now on. I didn't know Brad before Scotty, but not only for his kindness to Scotty, as well as other newcomers, but because of the entertainer he is...great picker, as Scotty would say and a great songwriter as well as singer, has made me a fan. I hope they stay close over the years. This is all so great for Scotty, but just think of the people his parents and Ashley have met and the experiences they enjoy...even his friends are enjoying all this. They have to be enjoying the ride as well. I know I am!

  22. Scotty is taking all of us on the ride of our lives! I love it ! I have always liked Brad and respect him tremendously for all the effort he puts forth for the up and coming newbies. He is so sweet and humble. I couldn't think of another star that would have done a better job for Scotty, than Brad. It is obvious that Brad likes and respects Scotty and vice-versa. Thank you both for the journey so far. A McCreerian for life and a BP fan always.

  23. Next year he'll get out there and do it all himself! Brad showed him all the ropes and he is a very quick learner. Don't think he'll be the babe moo moo trailing after all different seasoned stars.he is too much his own person. One of the reasons we love him! What is he going to do play oh follow me until age 43?? I think not.

    ReplyDelete
  24. Scotty will continue to do solo concerts, maybe 8-10 thousand people, but as far as headlining a big tour, he would be the first to say he isn't ready. There is a lot more than going out and singing. We know he can do that. Not to mention the cost of doing a big show on his own. It takes a lot of money to pay for those expenses on your own. Talking about 30-60 thousand persons venue. Right now Brad is footing the bill for those huge shows. And he needs more songs to put on a big show. He can learn a lot yet from other stars and he admits that. He could learn a lot more, getting another tour under his belt. This is not criticism, but some facts to consider.

    1. I agree that Scotty needs to wait til he is 100% ready for the big headliner and he and everyone will know when that is....It will sorta flow naturally I think. I agree also, that there are more ropes to learn. As much as I love seeing him and Brad together, it would be useful for him to tour with some other really BIG headliners so that he can draw from all and then filter all learned to form his own Scotty McCreery concert show. I don't think anyone is suggesting he wait til 43 for that but he's very young and there's a lot to learn and I too think Scotty would be first to say he has more to learn. It'll be hard to find someone to tour with that matches the great chemistry that he and Brad share....but he won't push for anything prematurely.....he'll wait to get it right and it'll be ideal compliment for his developing career. I'd say tour w/Brad forever, but he needs to learn from variety of Big Timers. I'm still wondering about his Great News comment...wonder if it was this or something even bigger like the nomination we're all hoping for.

  25. Kinda sarcastic comment 5:20 and that isn't necessary. You don't want to start something here. The girls are not going to put up with it as long as they did before.

  26. There are a lot more 'ropes' to learn.

  27. Loved seeing the video!!! Four weeks out into my journey with Breast Cancer & during my 8 hour surgery I requested they play some Scotty music!!! The doctors loved it and I knew it would help me through it and it did!!! I hope to get to a concert soon!!! Scotty just keeps getting better & better if that is possible and love seeing him and Brad together. Scotty has such a wonderful family supporting him and is already out there doing so much for all of us fighting Cancer. Thanks Scotty for all your help!!! Us fighting this will all be winners some day but at such a young age having so much comfort and help is over the Moon!!! My kids bought me a Membership to the Scotty Club as my gift & gave it to me the day of my surgery - so now I have the shirt, signed album & all!! Can't wait to get to a concert!!!

  28. They are so good when they do this song together, and the crowd loves it.
So much better live,it's hard to pick up a audio on the i-phones ,they don't come close to the real deal when your there.Awesome in concert both of them, and Scotty's opening act is so darn good, and he is so cute.

  29. Everyone is understandably expressing great appreciation to Brad for asking Scotty to tour and Brad deserves the appreciation for helping many young artists; however, I don't think Scotty has been only one to benefit.....I bet Scotty has pulled more than his fair share of ticket sales which has helped Brad as well...It seems to me Brad knows what he's doing when it comes to picking his opening acts.

    1. I agree 100%. I think Brad does his homework before he picks his openers. If he saw any American Idol tour videos, which I am pretty sure he did, he knew Scotty would be a great choice for an opener with legions of adoring fans already!

    2. Again in our country rudeness rules. Brad is the adult And Scotty is the kid. He knows that but a few people have the idea he floats Brad? ?? I think Scotty and family were ever so greatful and the appreciation was apparent.

  30. If you type in "Tim McGraw and Scotty McCreery I Like It I Love It" on YouTube, there are a couple more videos posted where you can hear Tim McGraw say clearly, "Give it up for my buddy Scotty! You should be proud of this boy!" I love that!! He was so gracious to step back and let Scotty sing a good bit of the song. I go back to those videos over and over. That rocks my world, to have two of country music's big superstars supporting Scotty like that!!

    1. It wouldn't surprise me, if Scotty signs up with Tim McGraw for his next tour. Tim, obviously, thinks highly of Scotty. They may even do another duet, and if its anything like their other two duets it'll be an awesome tour to attend, just like the Brad Paisley tour is!

  31. Scotty and Brad do so good together. I can't wait to see Scotty in Oct at the NC state fair.

  32. To 6:47. That is wonderful, to have Scotty playing during your surgery!! He is a champion for supporting Breast Cancer. Wonderful, charitable kid. Nice of your kids to appreciate your love for Scotty. Hope you have a good recovery.

  33. 1:31pm: I got curious, talking about Scotty's height. Some guys and girls, for that matter seem to be extremely tall, like giants, so I got to wondering how tall was Elvis...looked it up, important records say 6' and of course with heels over that! One recorded height said 5'11.75". That was interesting because I always thought Elvis was really, really tall! So if Scotty is like I think 5'11" he's close to what Elvis's height was!

    ReplyDelete
  34. 1:35 AM you are so right, as he gets older his voice will mature and get deeper and richer and oh!!he will be a force to reckon with. However; I think he already is.

  35. I actually hope scotty will tour with brad another year, their is a great chemistry between them.thank you brad for inviting scotty and know scotty is very greatful as well.---you two have got it together---both great guys MJ in TX

    1. I THOUGT ABOUT THE REMARK OF THE GUY THAT SAW SCOTTY ATER AI AND SAID HE WAS SURPRISED HE IS A LITTLE GUY. IF HE IS 5'10" OR 5'11" THAT IS WHAT I AM. I WAS ALWAYS TOLD THAT 5'8" OR SO WAS AVERAGE. SCOTTY IS NOT A BIG BUILT PERSON BUT AS FAR AS HIS HIGHTH THAT IN MY BOOK IS NOT LITTLE. MY WIFE WAS ONLY 5' I CALL THAT LITTLE.

  36. I am happy KU will be a judge on IDOL. Hope they don't ruin it by hiring Nicki M. Can't stand her. I only watched Idol one year and that was because of Scotty. I fell in love with him the night he sang LBT. Was hooked...still am, of course. I ended up watching this past year again because I was intrigued with PP. I like the guy...won't buy his music tho. Wish they would take him off the country voting polls. He certainly doesn't claim to be country.

    1. I agree. Love Keith Urban, but Nicki Minaj -- Yuck!!! She is so nasty and such a foul mouth. They may not have enough 'bleeps' for her. I do have to pull for Phillip Phillips because I am from Leesburg, GA, and we are pulling for our home folks, but I have no idea why they put him in the country sites. He is not a country artist and never will be.

    2. I agree totally I'm having a hard time even wanting to watch next season if they get Kanye west I defiantly will not watch it . I think this may be the last year . I think its funny how Keith is only getting like 4 million and Niki is getting double that because she is also a wardrobe mentor really are you kidding me look at what she wears ? At least both these artist are at the top of their career . Then they bring Mariah in at 18 million why do they pay washed up singers like Jlo Steven in what to resurrect their careers mean while the second place contestants get 50 thousand and possible no record deal and they fired alot of people behind the scenes. When are they going to realize we watch because of the contestants not the stars they bring in . Besides vocally the contestants blow them out of the water . jlo never even sang live she lip sinks. What a joke . At least Mariah and Keith can sing .

  39. I think that 2:54 was referring to Elvis's height.

  40. I am the poster who posted that. On a Dvd that Priscella made about Elvis she said he was 6' 2".

  41. Here we go bashing Niki or whomever. Get out and do some charity work instead like Scotty would. These people need Scotty for a role model .

    1. Don't start this crap again . Go back to your Lauren Scotty Web site I know that's where your from I can tell . Don't come here to inflicts your opinions to others go worship and do gooders happy go lucky attitude on that site where everything is roses and tulips . Yuck I can take that in very small doses. If she doesn't like Niki on AI then she has the right to say so frankly I can't stand her eather . Her boob flopping out on stage last season . She can't sing to boot . To many goody two shoes on some of these sites .

  42. Some kind of Condecending attitude always reining here. And really so far from what Scotty represents!!

    1. No condescending attitudes here just people whoA can't mind their own business . What exactly to you mean from what Scotty represents I hope you didn't mean anything bad about Scotty because that could be a war that you started . We on this sure love Scotty and only Scotty not everyone else on Idol season 10. Why do people insist on coming on this site to stir up trouble ? Get a life . We are not doing this again trust me I'm stopping it right now.
