Review of Virtual Reality Tour stop in Bethel

http://www.riverreporter.com/column/my-hum.../14/back-future

“American Idol” winner Scotty McCreery opened the show, and it became clear why this 18-year-old took home the prize. Polished, professional and powerful, McCreery sauntered into the audience and sang his heart out to the fans, showcasing his signature bass voice, while displaying his prowess with the guitar at the same time—and I became a convert instantly. Any thoughts of this kid being a “flash in the pan” were dispelled, and his future looks incredibly bright. At one point, McCreery paused and walked the runway into the audience. “I owe it all to you, New York!” he declared. “Thank you for voting me through to the end on ‘American Idol.’ Without your support, I wouldn’t be singing here tonight, in beautiful Bethel!

http://allthingscountrymusic.com/2012/08/09/2012-cma-preview-who-will-be-nominees/ . The other contenders have already been in the business for a long time and yet are still being considered for this award.

  4. Scotty tweeted a while ago that he " found out some great news today " ... That made me so excited. I was thinking that he might have been included in the CMA 2012 New Artist of the Year. If it is so, then IT IS truly GREAT NEWS !!!!!

Whatever it is, I am sure Scotty will share it with his fans.

    1. I read same and wondered same as you....

The last entry I made took 6, maybe 7 tries to prove I'm not robot. If we have to use these for some reason, some r much easier to use than others and this was the hardest one I've ever tried to get entry to match. I still don't understand, is there some reason to believe there r robotic entries here? That doesn't seem to make sense as post seem quite personal..I guess I'm missing point somewhere....but geez I dread trying to get another post through.

  5. Great interview!....instant convert, alright, that's impressive. Think it is good that Scotty's rebounding on BB and Country chart....hopefully due to his timeless style.

Okay, having impossible time posting comment. Assuming some changes have been made to control problems at site...but an explanation would be courteous. Also I have no idea how to log in w/some of these options and would like to keep email private from public.... user ID okay, but could someone detail the options a bit more for those of us net challenged...I'm so lost on all the new stuff, facebook and twitter accounts but can never figure out how and what to use when.

  6. Thanks for the anonymous back. I hope everyone will dispense with the negativity so we don't get removed. This was a nice review...another convert! How could you not become a Scotty fan after seeing him or listening to him!!

  7. Oh have we option for anonymous again. What was going on. I don't understand what u mean about avoiding being removed 11:04. How/why do we get removed? I don't mind providing a user ID but it was hassle to post. If some sort of controls are needed Fanbuff has way where u sign up one time as member. While away from this site, I cruised and they are doing some fabulous and agressive work there with Street Team. Talk about dedicated...I was impressed with their determination to keep Scotty at top of anything possible. They had some interesting insights on voting pxs: apparently there is equipment which dumps 1000's of votes by robotic method w/out fans having to be present to vote; thus potential and unfortunately likely explanation for when we see an artist jump over Scotty in seemingly illogical overnight sweeps. But they have remained determing...got to give em credit. Also interesting article over there on Scotty's change in mgt...different than one I initially read. More informative.

    1. I'm shocked to hear of equipment that dumps 1000's of votes..that would definitely explain overnite sweeps, but sure doesn't make it fair. Curious to know did the article, say Scotty changed management or do we still not know?? Thanks

    2. I was also shocked and we are obviously fighting losing battle w/voting on some sites. I would think the site's themselves would want to assume some responsiblity. Surely they can figure out a problem when an artist's percentage jumps in such significant contrast to typical voting patterns expected. I don't think they care in some cases as they just want to increase site visits. And if SM fans see Scotty behind and esp. in big deficit; what happens? We go running to their site and their stats increase and we still have to watch Scotty lose. Go to Fanbuff and read the articles for urself. I've slept since reading, so I don't want to misquote in regard to either the voting issues nor Change in mgt. I'm still not clear on the either.

  8. The removal was for all the bickering. Hate to see all comments removed, tho. And ths has been the hardest time commenting. Have to go thru 5-6 times before I could read the coded letters, Wish there was an easier way.

  9. Oh! I so wanted to comment on this new convert's review, had it all typed out, but like I guess a lot of us, I couldn't print it! Scotty, is polished, professional, powerful with a signature bass voice. Absolutely love how this person described Scotty as a performer. Just the way this fan sees him!

  10. 7:20, it could be something in school. His Mom tweeted that he stopped by the house and was pumped because he got an assignment in a Public Speaking Class. But it could be something else. Whatever, happy for him!

  11. I only know little to US school system. Would anybody be kind to explain what a "Public Speaking class" is ? Ty in advance

  12. I don't understand how the posting now is to work as a filter for negativity. It is just frustrating now to try and get posted. Is that the filter system???

  13. It is just a class that prepares one to be able to speak in publis, like before a group. Scotty speaks pretty good to a crowd. I'm sure this goes a little deeper.

    1. thanks much for answering my question. And IA Scotty certainly does a perfect job speaking to crowds already.
