    1. Since u mentioned his wardrobe (sorta). I was thinking the other day, (and sure few will agree) but I really liked the way Scotty was dressed when he auditioned for AI, singing ur man in flip flops, w/normal guy jeans and polo tucked neatly in....also liked his own version of Country look when he sang LBT and thought he was just too precious in pleated khaki's and button down collar shirt (tucked in) singing The Dance the first time. I did not care for way AI dressed him. I know he had some say, but think his own taste is best...I like his more casual jeans and long sleeved shirts, primarily solid colors with cuffs rolled up worn outside of jeans..the tucked in part is not the issue....I just don't care for the duded up western wear look...and not ever one is made for straight leg jeans...I don't want to set off a war here, I'm just stating my preference of Scotty's own taste pre-AI and boy-next-door look. He just looks more comfortable in his own style IMO and a little uncomfortable or forced in the Cowboy/western influence stuff...Bottom line he's going to chose for himself and he shd wear what he is most comfortable in, not what's expected for a country singer...I noticed at one interview where he was also performing, where he had on white round neck plain tee on outside of jeans, he kept fooling with it (a lot)first time I've seen him ever distracted in interview...he just didn't seem comfortable..Am I the only one who is sucker for all American boy look? Conversely, I can be had by a rodeo looking Tim McGraw, but that is his personalized signature style so it reallllly works for him. But I think Scotty's own everyday look really works for him also....and why can't we have All American look for a country singer...really aren't any rules anymore.

    2. I think Scotty looks great in t-shirt and jeans for warm summer concerts! I think he always dresses well, for the occasion. I remember when he returned to his old job, he had casual khaki pants and black shirt, better than jeans, and yet a little more dressy for work! The awards shows, he looked so sharp, dressed to-the-nines as they say. Over-all I think he has a good sense of how to dress for different events.

  3. I agree ! Smile on my face and definitely warms my heart. Can anybody figure out how that happens just with this guy and no one else???? It is way beyond me!

  4. Scotty just has IT, whatever IT is. He's got to know how many people are saying "That's our boy". Glad his Dad and Mom and Sis don't mind that we claim him as "ours". It's hard to put a finger on any one thing. He is the whole package and so many are missing out on having him as a part of their lives. Wake up, guys. Scotty makes people want to do good themselves because he sets the example. Just an incredible young man.

  6. Cute pics as always. Off topic, but would you guys go back to the Bay City Pig Gig and tell me he isn't getting some rhythm in those hip, esp OOS and Gone when he sings 'long gone done me wrong'. Am I the only one who keeps watching those videos over and over and find him...yummy?

    1. I thought the same about his rhythm when singing Celebrity with Brad last weekend. He sure did get into it. :-)
He is certainly feeling much more at ease on stage. He is growing up before our eyes!

    2. Well, I see it more and more. He is definitely workin the moves in his own reserved way and his own pace...But I swear, we're going to see some serious moves out of this boy. He's got the rhythm; he still lacks confidence IN A WAY....Please don't take that wrong way fans, what I'm trying to say is that I don't think Scotty sees himself or is comfortable in role of "stud-muffin" for lack of better term and that's part of the humble guy we adore. He was so young on AI and still of mind-set of many reserved guys his age....most are uncomfortable dancing and think they can't. (I worry bout those that thnk they can) But as he get's going with the music, and lets himself go, the moves are there and seem to come naturally. I think this is what S.Tyler was sayin about wantin to see Scotty do more of the Boot-Scootin...although I rarely take anything Tyler says seriously. Anyway, 2:52, I'm seeing same thing ur seein; problem is I'm too old to "find him yummy", but not to old to recognize it. I noted it on, "long gone done me wrong" as well. Now u have me wantin to go ck out OOS again. I know new album will feature some "meaningful and profound" music, but I'm hoping and betting he'll have some rock out songs that give him op to venture and stretch beyond himself...Nothing at all wrong w/where he is now, peeps; but, Scotty is very good at pushing beyond his comfort zone when motivated: like Gone on AI. He wouldn't have done that on his own at that time, but then it was suggested and he ended up saying that was most fun song he did. Think he's starting to take more risks as he matures. All indications are he's going to be huge as all round performer...and if his audience wants some moves, he'll give em moves because he can read his audience. Stay chill 2:52!

I like the 1st topmost picture...baby face and adorable. Wishing that he comes out in commercials to show his good looks and IT factor (whatever IT is ... just like what 1:35 a.m. said ) that can sell millions of products.

  11. Hello sweet fans of Scotty family. I will be 80yrs young my next BD. You all know me as Mammaw Hicks. That IT thing you are talking about, well I have only seen it twice in my life. The first time was in 1954 at the Lamar County Fair where I saw a 17yr old boy get up on the stage and made history right before my eyes. You know him as Elvis Presley. The next time I saw the IT thing was the moment when a 16yr old boy walked into the AI auditions. You know him as Scotty McCreery. I only saw IT twice in my life, and that's why I know that Scotty is destined for greatness. God says what I have planned, IT will happen. Love all of you. They treated Elvis just like they are treating Scotty. I love that little guy so much, and I am just going to sit back and enjoy every single moment of this ride.

    2. I COULD NOT SAY IT ANY BETTER THAN THE ABOVE COMMENT FROM MAMMAW HICKS. SCOTTY JUST SEEMS TO BE LIKE A MAGNET AS I HAVE READ FROM MANY OF YOU HERE IN THE COMMENT HE JUST DRAWS YOU IN, MAKES ONE WANT TO SMILE, HE BRINGS SO MUCH WARMTH.

THE MOMENT SCOTTY WALKED INTO THE AI AUDITIONS SPEAKING , SMILING THE VOICE HIS WONDERFUL LOOKS I KNEW THAT HE WAS GOING TO WIN. YES, I DO THINK HE IS DESTINED FOR GREATNESS. I AM JUST GOING TO SIT BACK AND ENJOY EVERY SINGLE MOMENT OF THIS RIDE AS LONG AS IT TAKES. I AM A GRANDPA AT 75 YEARS OLD AND I HAVE ASKED GOD TO PLEASE KEEP ME AROUND FOR A LONG TIME SO I CAN SEE SCOTTY'S TRAVEL.

    3. Oh, bless you! I hope you have many many more years to follow Scotty, as well as I wish for myself. Scotty is very special and I hope we can all enjoy him for a long time too!

    4. Yes, yes, I agree 1000% Loved Elvis and have compared that IT factor to Scotty from day one. Something special about his music as there was for Elvis. I loved loved Elvis all my life and now I love love Scotty. Just something soooooo special about his personality and his music that is unique, only one like him around.

    5. Agree with 7:12pm love the comparison Mammaw Hicks! When Scotty sings Elvis songs like 'That's Alright Mamma' and 'You Were Always On My Mind' its like they were written for him!

    6. Ditto to Mammaw Hicks and all!..Except I was not that crazy about Elvis, only Scotty..! But he did have that IT thing just like Scotty does!..I think it's 'a God thing', as Scotty says!

  13. How sweet when we hear of a man loving Scotty! He is so very special. I am a 67 year old grandma so I, too, hope to be around to see him down the rode. He brings so much joy to so many!! Unusual young man. I know there are a lot of fine young men out there which is nice to know.. Scotty definitely sets a great example. I love him like my own and I love that this kid loves and enjoys everything he does!

  14. Same thing here Mammaw Hicks. They are the only two I have ever known to draw so many they way Scotty is doind. Like Steven Tyler said, we hope to see that reaction and nostalgia return thru Scotty.

    1. You know since Scotty's been singing TROUBLE, I thought it came from Travis Tritt as original artist but doing some digging on Elvis last nite on Youtube, I saw that Elvis sang it before Travis...WOW...I sorta missed the Elvis era, born in 52 so I was only five or six when my youngest and favorite aunt got me all excited about her plans to watch him on TV with me one night. I adored her and thought everything she did was cool. I didn't totally follow his career, but u didn't have to, he was everywhere. I was planning on seeing him in Lexington KY where he was scheduled for concert shortly before he died. I love him doing Frank Sinatra's My Way and was listening to that last night and thinking bout how Scotty sang Sinatra song for his early AI audition. Scotty is really following a very old path in many ways...I don't know for sure if I believe in reincarnation or not..I tend to, but also think I don't have to figure it out now; assume somebody upstairs will let me know if I'm reasigned to come back...anyway, it's hard to look at Scotty and not believe in old souls. When I think of what kind of mind get's infatuated with Elvis at such a very young age, it makes a case for reincarnation. Anyway don't want to start religious war. Just got me thinking last nite when listening to Elvis. I would so love to hear Scotty sing My Way and This Time Lord You Gave Me A Mountain...but guess he might be a lil young for that, but Elvis did em when he was young too didn't he? Do u know Mawmaw Hicks?

  15. Agree we will see more moves in time. Like was said he didn't have confidence he could dance. We saw his wacky dance when on Idol and there was another one with him showing his favorite move. Absolutely adorable. He brings so much excitement and joy to people. Can't wait for some videos upcoming from his tour w/ Brad. A little slow right now. I need a Scotty fix. I am always reporting that every time I turn on Music Choice he comes on. At 2 a.m. this morning ILYTB came on again. Love that special song. That song shows how much people love Scotty's voice, when you think of it being a bit 'sleepy' as his Mom said. I thought he needed a much bigger song on the final show. But wow, everyone found out just how big that song was! It will always define Scotty in my mind.

    1. Me too!..No one else can ever sing it right!..Hope it makes platinum soon!..I did what I could to help!

    2. I disagree a little, I think the song was just average and Scotty made it "This Big".....I have come to love that song and like you'll it will always be special to me now and take me back to that very special time; "When no one ever dreamed this big". I just can't wait til Scotty comes together with the song that is big enough for him...WOW! I do agree that no one can give that song what it needs better than Scotty. It would be hard song to cover for anyone else which says a lot for Scotty's unique style. I can't help but think of Scotty's coronation song in contrast to PP's...PP had a huge song....it was great for any good artist, and yet he didn't think it his style much....which is a shame. I know it is doing exceeding well, but it could have been huge, had PP embraced it as Scotty did his. That's primary reason, I don't think we'll have to see much of PP around Country after this song's lifespan as he is determined to do his Dave Matthews thing or whatever it is. Unless, of course, there isn't money in kind of music he wants to do; then we could see him stick around country...who knows? I read somewhere that Colton is outselling PP which is wild if true and given the song PP has to work with. I love Colton when he sings Country, but not his gig either. Sorry, I digressed, just thinking out loud.

    2. Awwwwhh! Think it was cute how Colin worded the tweet.

Yikes that apartment could use a woman's touch....Someone send SOS for Mrs. McCreery....but I guess it's how they want it, being college boys. Brown and more brown and certainly no decorative clutter. Maybe Mama Judy can sneak in some red or aqua pillows/throw rug....ceramic artwork, something, anything.

Scotty, love ya, but please take off those black socks....ruins our heartthrob image of u...kidding, but seriously to those of u in that generation; is that like a "hot trend" for guys...or just Scotty turning back into other life at midnite?

    3. My son wears black socks with shorts its a new trend . Reminds me of an old guy .lol

    4. Hey stylin; leave it to u to answer me. I recognize u from our rubbing elbows at TOC. I've still got ur email somewhere and intend to use someday, but have been busy lately...busy hangin out here too much actually. Seriously, the black socks are a trend?.....reminds me of old guy too or the sterotypical nerd. As trends come and go this isn't my fav.....now a belly button piercing I wld have done; had it hit my era...(for girls of course, something small & tasteful) Oh well, that's the good thing about trends, they pass...Does your son love Scotty as much as you?

    5. He is 24 years old . He won't admit it but he liked Scotty I think he is a little jelous of Scotty that's pretty much all I talk about . My sons name is Shane when I saw Scotty the first time I couldn't believe how much he looked like my son especially when my Shane was in high school. I have a picture of my son with his baseball uniform on and was blown away I thinks that was when I fell in love with Scotty .his voice captured my heart . My son gets mad when he is acting a little jerkey I say what would Scotty do ? Lol he gets mad .

    1. I don't know either but I wouldn't underestimate the young girls and some guys his age as well. While the young Diva types are inclined to Justin Beiber and similar young artists, I think Scotty is attracting teens of different values and priorities...those with desire to live clean honorable God centered lives with charity at younger age. I'm not trashing the Beibs and his followers as there our those types for all young generations and they aren't necessarily bad or wild kids at all...but think there is trend moving toward motivations, priorities and goals of greater depth and Scotty represents a type of validation and testament for this "different young crowd" who choose what is perhaps the path less traveled, and atypical of this age group.

    2. Love it!!..So true!!

  26. He has huge fanbase of older ones and real young and teens, but the kids old enough to drink and party don't get Scotty. That's okay if that's what they want...their loss. It is great seeing all ages at his concert. Esp. moms and dads with their kids. Couples of various ages and grandparents with their grandkids. I think the majority want their young ones to listen to the music Scotty does and look at the good example he sets. He may not be bothered by a lot of college kids if they're of drinking age and love that kind of music. Need to get younger ones on board, though..we older ones won't live forever!

  27. This is a time of flux and Scotty represents a turn towards something better. More and more will get that as time moves on.
