Judy McCreery shares a video of Scotty McCreery singing in the Galveston/Houston area

I'm not sure what happened to this video - when Judy tweeted it earlier you could play it and when I posted it you could play it. Try clicking on the link below to see if it works that way.

  2. I saw Scotty today in Galveston!! I could not get tickets to the show - someone told me today that it was a sell-out two weeks ago!! We went to Moody Gardens anyway just to see the gardens. Right before Scotty was to start singing, we walked on the sidewalk BEHIND the stage just hoping to hear him sing. Lo and behold the fence on each side of the stage had open spots with NO trees nor bushes so we stood there behind the fence and watched the entire show - matter of fact, we were CLOSER to Scotty than the people in the VIP seats!! One of the ladies standing behind the fence also asked the DJ if he would ask Scotty to turn around and look at us for pictures and he did and waved at all us!!! Of course, Scotty was AWESOME!! The radio DJ announced that Scotty was donating all the money today to Operation Christmas Child (the shoeboxes that he helped with last year!!). He was so cute - he was talking about what a Great Influence Brad was to him as far as how to treat his crew, how to perform on stage, etc. Scotty said "When I grow up and hopefully become a headliner myself, Brad has taught me how to treat my crew" - haha Judy was there and DJ called her up to the microphone to talk to her also. We were by the back gate and Matt came out to put his guitar on the tram car so everyone was having their picture made with Matt. Security made us leave and said that Scotty would NOT come out until we were all gone. Once we walked away, the tram car went inside the gate and picked up Scotty, Matt, Judy, etc For someone who didn't have a ticket, it was an AWESOME "free" experience!!!I

    1. Oh I will!! - I have been making one or two shoeboxes every year for many, many years and for two years even went with our church to work at the Operation Christmas Child distribution center in Atlanta to inspect boxes and then wrap them to be shippped - an AWESOME experience just to be helping with such a great organization!! I can just imagine how Scotty must have felt to actually get to hand boxes to the children. I just wanted to share with everyone how Awesome it is that he was NOT taking the money for himself today but donating it to OCC instead!!

  4. Bless you ! I am so happy to know that some "out there" know enough to help where help is needed. Scotty is a good role model for our youthful citizens. It sounds like you are too. What goes around, comes around. You will be blessed.
