Can't get enough of him. Addicted to his music and his whole persona. SCOTTIFIED. Do we all feel the same?
Praying for his continued success and longevity in the business. I have complete faith in the fans. We will support him til ..... wherever and whenevet his carreer wil lead him.
I agree. I just can't get enough of his music, smile and personality. I have completely worn out his music albums (have them all) listen everyday in the car and check for anything new online. I will be a forever fan.
AND I TOTALLY AGREE WITH YOU 100%. I CAN'T GET ENOUGH OF HIM ALL OF HIM.HIS MUSIC,SMILE,PERSONALITY,SENSE OF HUMOR.AND WE WILL STICK BY HIM FOREVER AS LONG AS HIS CAREER TAKES HIM.I KNOW I'M RIGHT YA'LL RIGHT. I WILL BE A FAN 4-EVER,EVER.
I totally agree! SCOTTIFIED also!! I am worried that that heavy sweating, riding in airplanes and being around large crowds is going to pull his immune system down, though. Keep well, Scotty ! I hope you are right and it is just"a little cold". Love you, love what you say, sing and do!! McCreerian forever!
We McCreerians can help others become SCOTTIFIED, for example, through talking to flight seatmates about him. Have had that experience. The guy wanted to know specifically how Scotty did in concerts. After our conversation,he's going to the next available!
Let's stay all positive. Scotty respects all his friends from Idol and new friends made in the Country Music World. We need to emulate his ways and be like him. These positive ways will lift him up and we trust will continue his strong popularity. We will all be there supporting him in a positive sense. Really think this is the way he would want his fans to be throughout. Don't think Scotty would picture his people as angry conniving folk whom put down others. Scotty is unique and so should the fans reflect his essence.
No we all don't need to be like Scotty; think like him or reflect his essence. I detest these global "We need to be" admonishments. But found the comment above so offensive I'm indulging. I need to be the individual God intended me to be, not a clone of Scotty or anyone else. What God wills for me, he might not will for someone else...but I will never know what he wills for me if I go around trying to be like someone else...and making that person my higher power...Not that I don't love Scotty to death, think he's a great role model, but he'd be the first to say "be Yourself"...as matter of fact, I think he's said it several times when asked for advice. Scotty doesn't go off telling others "we need to be this or that"; he just says how needs or wants to be. I don't get ur thinking at all.
What brought that comment about? Anyway, I met a lady from N.C. while on vacation in Wi. and we were waiting for a tour boat. When she said she was from N.C. I asked if she was familiar with Scotty and she lit up ad we talked alot about him. She had seen him in concert at The Azalea Festival in N.C. I was jealous! Another Grandma for Scotty! You never know when you may meet a fellow McCreerian. Just mention his name!
I was in Natchitoches, Louisiana in a gift shop two weeks ago. The woman in line in front of me told the shop owner that she was from Raleigh North Carolina and was just passing through on vacation. I said.....then you must know Scotty McCreery. She looked at me and smiled and said I am actually from Garner, Scotty's hometown. Small world. We had a nice conversation about Scotty and his awesome family.

I was at the beach in late May, and while sitting around the pool, I overheard a guy and gal talking about Raleigh and all the places the went and things they did and before the conversation was over,I heard "and, I am going to see Scotty" I wanted to join in the conversation then, but did not want to intrude. I am from Mebane, NC which is about 40 miles from Garner so naturally I had my ears peeled. I got to meet scotty at a CD signing in Garner and, he is just as cute and nice in person.
I seen Scotty twice in concert and he looks awesome in those pull over polos. It's so hot up on stage, and with al his energy ,and movements there the most comfortable i'm sure, and he looks awesome. He changes up the colors for each show, between his nice jeans ,and polo's I love them.He looks so hand some in person he couldn't get any cutter. When it's a more formal event he dresses up as he should for the occasion. He has the perfect frame for anything he wears, and he is hot.
That is some stage! So glad Scotty gets to perform/headline his own concerts at such venues - it's great experience and exposure for him & gives him the chance to really put to work what he's learning from being on tour with Brad Paisley - You can really see how much he is growing as a performer, and entertainer too, just getting better and better with each performance. Love how he and his band change up how they perform the songs at every show. And Scotty's command of the stage is WOW! I can hardly wait to see what he will be like in another year! He is just so natural on that stage and singing straight-up country. I am sure his next album will be WOW!
I think some people don't like seeing him wear "T-Shirts" because they think it is too casual. Polo shirts are different, have a collar. Maybe they'd like it if he did wear polos. He looks fine, if that's what he feels like wearing at this time, so be it. He dresses like a teenager. At least he is a teenager and not someone in their 40's and 50's trying to look young...but who can say Tim McGraw doesn't wear jeans and a T-Sirt well!!! Just don't care for the ripped jeans. I do have to say I like Scotty in slimmer jeans, not the baggy ones. He's gorgeous.
tim and brad also wear t shirt and jeans only just they tuck in the t shirt during their concert performance what wrong is fine scotty wear that t shirt and jean and yes slim jean look good not baggy one look not neat
We were at one of the concerts and the temperature was 100 degrees .It was so hot just sitting there,Brad made comments about the heat i don't know how they can perform in that kind of heat.Scotty looked awesome his jeans were fine, and they were not loose and he had a nice pull over on there was no need for it to be tucked in it was the type you were outside and it was nice, and he looked super great. He looked young and dressed the way he should be.The folks that go to these kind of concerts are not dressed up there in shorts and all kind of getups. So relax everyone he looks gorgeous. When he's at the Opry thats dress up time he's a cool kid,he's that darn good looking, and charming and when he speaks he is so darn beautiful he takes your breath away.
HE DOES ME TOO TAKES MY BREATH AWAY WHEN HE TALKS. TO ME WHATEVER HE WEARS IS OK WITH ME CAUSE HE IS ALWAYS GORGEOUS.WHEN HE IS ON THE OPRY HE IS DRESS SO DARN GOOD LOOKING. ALL YOU WANT TO DO IS HUG HIM SO TIGHT CAUSE HE IS.AND GIVE HIM A BIG KISS.HE IS SO ABSOLUTELY ADORALBE AND A CUTIE.AND A HEEEEEE'S A DOLL.AND HE IS.
Here some go again... The clothes- the outfits - Thought Scotty was about the goodness and the music? His fan base need not worry about Scotty and his clothing- they need to be worried about their own intellect and these batty concerns. Raise up that mentality and measure up to Scotty for goodness sake. Getting embarrassed by this hooey!
AMEN and DITTO!!!..The delete button will be used if they don't stop! Scotty always dresses right for the occasion!..His instincts are right on!..Anyway, his singing is so riveting, who cares!?..GS
There are people from outside the U.S and even people here from a different culture so maybe they are offended by the casual. Maybe cut some slack. I think he looks good all the, but people are allowed their opinion.
IA that different country and culture could be a possible reason for some persons to make critical remarks about clothes. And I´d think AGE could be a reason too, because habits and clothing have changed much these past centuries and not everybody keeps updated. As to the cultural difference I just want to say I´m from Europe and I can assure "the casual T-shirt critics" wouldn´t be made by people from my continent because our clothing- fashion culture is no different to the American.
Scotty's attire during concerts is perfect. Let's him move around the stage which he does so well. So much enthusiasm and crowd appeal! Anything other than T-shirt and jeans, he'd "burn up"!
Sorry my fingers slipped off the keys...offended by the casual look...cut them some slack....looks good all the time. Someone expressing that isn't negative and there's no need for deleting their thoughts.
I couldn't agree more....we are not robots and God made us all different for a reason....this place can get very boring when ppl continue to insist what other ppl shd think and say. What ppl define as acceptable comments, gets more narrowly defined ever time I come on here. I like his hair short, his flip flops over boots....and thought he looked his very cutest ever when he auditioned for AI with Your Man. But he also looked adorable when he auditioned The Dance. I personally wld like to see him dress for stage, the way he dressed b/f AI...All American boy next door look...(except for the black socks w/shorts... not my thing) but I can live with it if others don't see every little thing the way I do and God only knows Scotty can; he's not that thin-skinned: SHDC. Besides he's going to do his own thing anyway.
I agree, the things needing to be deleted are harmful comments and expressing what one would like to see him wear isn't harmful. Just like his hair, some like short, some like a little longer. They're are someone's opinion, not going to hurt him.And no I am not a troll.
his wearing is ok no problem he look great he know when to dress up on which occasion when awards or perform on live American Idol he dress up he know when is the proper time he know very well and so far his dress is great and fit to the right place and time i am fine with his dressing i like it the way he dress i like the t shirt and jean.
I don´t see any need to delete or to get angry. All I can see is "AnonymousJuly 20, 2012 1:05 PM" being critical to Scotty´s T shirts. That is only ONE person. All the other posters agree on Scotty being gorgious like he is and perfect with whatever he is wearing. Some add they prefer him when he wears tight jeans. That´s no critisism. That´s just praise to his figure and looks. To use Scotty´s words: It´s all good. Have a good one
It's too bad that people get so sensitive to things said about Scotty's dress. I don't think it is criticism...that person I'm sure loves Scotty as much as any of us. There is nothing in what that person said. If I said I like him in blue and not black, for example, that doesn't mean people should jump on it and say that's wrong. It's just a person's opinion...that doesn't make it wrong or say it's a criticism. BTW, I love Scotty in black as well as blue. One thing to keep in mind is that what Scotty is wearing, t-shirts, not polo shirts are basically undershirts. They are just colored. So some older fans see it as an under garment. Don't take offense at them. I am sure it is not in a way a slam on Scotty. I feel sure he wouldn't think that way. Everyone has an opinion, yours, mine, whatever, it's shouldn't generate these kinds of reactions.
Why don't we change the tone here and have fun. Name your tp 5 favorite songs from Scotty, on AI or after AI. Mine are (1) ILYTB..because that's his baby! (2) PRM (3) The Dance (4) YMTLG (5)Gone. It's hard to choose, I must admit. How about yours. Speaking of him, he's on GAC right now!!!
Wow, that's a tough one because I truly love them all depending on my mood. If I have to choose though 1- YMTLG, Letters from Home, PRM (all tied -can't decide) 2- Back on the Ground & Dirty Dishes (again tough they are a close 2nd 3- You Make That Look Good, That's alright Mama (He does Elvis proud) 4- Clear As Day (Love his deep voice) 5-Write My # On Your Hand -such a fun song.
Again, I think it is one of the only albums that I listen to and absolutely love every song for different reasons. I think that is truly one of the best compliments an artist could have. It is certainly the only album in many years I can say that about unless it is a Best Of .... album.
I like all except CAD (but love his deep voice on that too!) #1 PRM, #2 ILYTB, #3 BOTG #4 OKJ, #5 The Dance,#6 WTT video,#7 BTT, #8 TTWG video. Sometimes it changes around, depending on my mood. Also love Letters from Home. Can't really dislike anything Scotty sings, especially seeing him sing it!..Love his duet with Brad, too!!..Especially the prank one!..Love him TTMAB! (Forgot DD!) BTW..I wonder how Tarah did w/the letters thing?..GS
Well, I got my laugh for the evening. All these comments about clothes. He's eighteen years old my goodness. His mother "styles" him for those more "formal" events, but he's certainly not going to out dress Brad Paisley. I'm still chuckling (if that's the right spelling). I will always remember and love his original haircut. In my day, I think we called this a "butch". From a CT grandma.
PS Love Old King James and Please Remember Me too.
Did you mean Scotty's haircut, or Brad's? :) I LOVE Scotty's short CURLY hair now!..Even better a little longer!..He must have heard that so many of us wanted him to show his curly hair!..GS
It's hard to maintain curly or wavy hair - the more you trim or cut your hair, the curlier or more wavy - I know! He has to grow it a certain length/ time before the next trim especially if he wants it a certain way - he got some tips from the hair stylists on ai10 (he mentioned this in an interview) - plus he's on the road a lot these days -
For the person who liked his butch haircut, that's fine. You should be able to say that w/o people jumping on you because they disagree. We all have varying opinions on which is our favorite song...we are allowed. So don't get upset because some would like to see him a little more dressed up. The point is people, we can disagree. Nobody should get upset. And for the person saying we aren't to be clones, I think people just mean we all could be like Scotty in the way he sees people and the way he approaches things. He is never vindictive.
Well, I'm jealous of all of you as you "critique" our Scotty. I've never gotten the chance to see him stuck down here in San Antonio. I'd like him in anything!! He is precious and his voice is unbelievable.!! I just wait for the videos to be posted on this site. Thanks to anyone who posts them. I wish our local radio stations would play him....they don't and I can't figure out why. Love that young man.
I'm stuck in Austin, Tx. Hoping that Scotty is coming to Texas in August, if so I'll try to go. Does you local station play WTT mine doesn't? However, they did play the TTWG and ILYTB. I'm still requesting on mediabase. I did notice WTT was #90 and #100 on itunes sales this week so maybe the Video on GAC and all Scotty's concerts are helping. Please keep requesting WTT on mediabase and at your local stations. Also if you haven't bought WTT and can please do so. Hoping Scotty gets a surf board tonight.
Your station in Austin is possibly owned by Cumulus Radio. They do not have Scotty on their playlist. They are the 2nd largest owner of radio stations across the country (all genres). They are based in Atlanta, Ga. Their Program Director has an email address to write to where you can request Scotty to be played on their stations. D.J.'s owned by Cumulus can't choose their own music. Hopefully, if we all reqest nicely, they will come on board and start playing Scotty on their Country stations across the country. We can all try!!
Is tonight when the Teen Choice awards voting is over?....seems like forever...When do we know results. I'm too old to vote and too busy to have faked my dogs name and age so I haven't kept up w/this one. But sure hope he takes it all!
My opinion about Scotty's shirt of choice......I think he wore plaid shirts to please others, and I think he wears tshirts to please himself, cause he knows us die hard fans KNOW it is all about the singing not about the attire. It is a generational deal that gives ppl something to blog about. Enuff!!!! Surfboard anyone?
I want 2 SURFBOARDS! But I will settle for even just 1 surfboard! Fingers crossed & praying!
And yes, enough already about the shirts, please - it's summer & almost 100 degrees some days & those stage lights are hot! Scotty is growing in different ways as a person & as a performer - as he continues to mature as an adult, so will his looks - he's doing just great!
I thought LA did not win? Anyway...he definitely deserves that surfboard - but hey, it's teen choice awards - I want Scotty to get the big awards that matter in the music industry, like the CMA, ACM, Grammy awards!

Plaid shirts,Scotty hairdos, LA competition, surfboard votes and JB anger. Who the heck cares? Instead I'll go listen to some fine Scott Mccreery Music. Scotty really deserves a fan base better than this... Honest!
Can't get enough of him. Addicted to his music and his whole persona. SCOTTIFIED. Do we all feel the same?

(2) PRM (3) The Dance (4) YMTLG (5)Gone. It's hard to choose, I must admit. How about yours. Speaking of him, he's on GAC right now!!!
ReplyDeleteWow, that's a tough one because I truly love them all depending on my mood. If I have to choose though 1- YMTLG, Letters from Home, PRM (all tied -can't decide) 2- Back on the Ground & Dirty Dishes (again tough they are a close 2nd 3- You Make That Look Good, That's alright Mama (He does Elvis proud) 4- Clear As Day (Love his deep voice)
Delete5-Write My # On Your Hand -such a fun song.
(Forgot DD!)
DeleteBTW..I wonder how Tarah did w/the letters thing?..GS
Well, I got my laugh for the evening. All these comments about clothes. He's eighteen years old my goodness. His mother "styles" him for those more "formal" events, but he's certainly not going to out dress Brad Paisley. I'm still chuckling (if that's the right spelling). I will always remember and love his original haircut. In my day, I think we called this a "butch". From a CT grandma.
ReplyDeletePS Love Old King James and Please Remember Me too.
Did you mean Scotty's haircut, or Brad's? :) I LOVE Scotty's short CURLY hair now!..Even better a little longer!..He must have heard that so many of us wanted him to show his curly hair!..GS
DeletePS..Or maybe because SOMEONE SPECIAL likes it that way?...:)
DeleteIt's hard to maintain curly or wavy hair - the more you trim or cut your hair, the curlier or more wavy - I know! He has to grow it a certain length/ time before the next trim especially if he wants it a certain way - he got some tips from the hair stylists on ai10 (he mentioned this in an interview) - plus he's on the road a lot these days -
DeleteFor the person who liked his butch haircut, that's fine.
ReplyDeleteWell, I'm jealous of all of you as you "critique" our Scotty.
ReplyDeleteLove that young man.
DeleteSorry I hadn't finished reading your post when I asked the question about if your station played WTT.
DeleteYour station in Austin is possibly owned by Cumulus Radio.
DeleteWe can all try!!
Is tonight when the Teen Choice awards voting is over?....seems like forever...When do we know results. I'm too old to vote and too busy to have faked my dogs name and age so I haven't kept up w/this one. But sure hope he takes it all!
ReplyDeleteMy opinion about Scotty's shirt of choice......I think he wore plaid shirts to please others, and I think he wears tshirts to please himself, cause he knows us die hard fans KNOW it is all about the singing not about the attire. It is a generational deal that gives ppl something to blog about. Enuff!!!! Surfboard anyone?
ReplyDeleteI want 2 SURFBOARDS! But I will settle for even just 1 surfboard! Fingers crossed & praying!
DeleteAnd yes, enough already about the shirts, please - it's summer & almost 100 degrees some days & those stage lights are hot! Scotty is growing in different ways as a person & as a performer - as he continues to mature as an adult, so will his looks - he's doing just great!
Heartbroken that Scotty didn't win!..I can't believe that LA won the choice reality award for AI?????
DeletePS Scotty is so sweet!..He no doubt congratulated Lauren!..Probably called her, or will soon!
DeleteI thought LA did not win? Anyway...he definitely deserves that surfboard - but hey, it's teen choice awards - I want Scotty to get the big awards that matter in the music industry, like the CMA, ACM, Grammy awards!

ReplyDeleteLauren did not win the choice reality award the Kardashian did you can check out the list on the examiner
ReplyDeletePlaid shirts,Scotty hairdos, LA competition, surfboard votes and JB anger. Who the heck cares? Instead I'll go listen to some fine Scott Mccreery Music. Scotty really deserves a fan base better than this... Honest!
