ReplyDeleteMy letter went in right after Tarah mentioned her great idea. Come on people ! I can't believe of all the zillions of Scotty fans that only 28 were willing to take the time to write to our SuperStar and family. What gives??? Scotty is very down to earth, so don't be afraid to write. He takes time for others, shouldn't we? That enough to goad you to hurry and write? I hope so, cuz he deserves to hear from his fans.

I have followed you from your audition on American Idol and it has been such a pleasure to watch you on your journey. It is such as blessing to see someone that is not afraid to stand up for our Lord and Savior. You bless my heart when I listen to you perform your beautiful music and P.S. I especially love to hear you sing the "The Dance". When I began following you on American Idol I had just had major surgery and was recovering from this, every week I could hardly wait to hear you sing. I am saddened to see so few people responnd to Tarah, sending a short message even. I guess mine will get read if there is only a few. Also, so what if LA wins a poll....she will something eventually because she has friends who power as does Scotty. It's just not t6hat big a deal!!Scotty would probably tweet her his congratulations...we can all follow his example. What matters more than all these polls is that we buy and request his music on the radio and,for those who can, go to his concerts. I hope someday I get to do that myself.

ReplyDeleteJust thinking - CA is Pacific time and that's 3 hours earlier than Eastern time, so Scotty's concerts that begin at 8:30 will really be 11:30 Eastern time. Right?

ReplyDeleteJust looking at earlier videos and how much older he looks, especially in the hometown surprise visit by Josh Turner. That expression on his face was priceless. And look at him now, being put in the company of several well-known artists.Just fantastic.

ReplyDeleteThose polls get Scotty's music out there to be heard on the radio.Last night Scotty wasNo1,and Lauren NO2.He has been in the top five all week,and I think it's great to be able to hear him on the radio.It's the only place I hear his song being played,and I have requested it many a time on the mediabase station. .WPOC from baltimore is a good station to listen to at 8o'clock it has been good week for Scotty he has been in the top 5 all week I listen to it every night.Also the announcer says it's just like it was on idol Scotty at No1,and Lauren at No2.Ilove it that way.
ReplyDeleteAI gave him the platform & introduced Scotty to America (& the world) - but now it's time to move on - He's working hard to establish himself, his name as a country artist in a highly competitive & even whimsical industry - they should stop comparing or competing him with LA already - if anything, they are both competing with other new & already established popular singers - I have nothing against any other struggling or aspiring singer, but this is so pop-culture oriented and LA just isn't in Scotty's league -
DeleteI listened to 949 star country last night Scotty had the highest %,but he was not played,they played some song not on the list,he did not even make the top 9!
ReplyDeleteSo far he is ahead on this poll,and they do play the artist songs,like I said he was on all week.Go to your web search and type in 93.1 WPOC Heart Radio Baltimore country.He was NO1 last night,I think he was No1 three times this week Lauren so far didn't hit No1.Also if you type in Keeping up with Scotty and Lauren voting,all the polls are there.
