I purchased this video earlier today on itunes and have watched it several times. I thought it would be featuring lots of water towers, small towns....but I actually love this video. It shows what Scotty's life is like -the excitement on the road, great fan reaction, and the normalcy of life at home. I'm proud of Scotty, always standing up for what is important to him. Love him and love the video!

DeleteAmazing video I love it. I pass the Raleigh /Wilmington sign and Garner exit here every summer to go to Carolina /Kure beach and Wilmington I have tried to take a pic of it but I was to slow to take it. Scotty,nc is so proud of u we love u Scotty Mccreery and your whole family.

It made cry tears of happiness, Very well done.People all over need to watch this and see what a great entertainer he is.It just so well done. Kudos for all those involved in the making of it. Well worth the wait.And I too love him curled up sleeping. I think all us Moms and Grandmas just want to kiss on the forhead. He does need his sleep. I 'm sure all young ones would like to kiss him too.This was way more than I expected...knew it would be good...but this is exceptional. Gotta go watch again.

It is really different for country music and that makes it special. This young man is so incredible I can't stand it. He is precious!! How do we get this on to GAC??? Just by buying it on I-tunes?? DeleteI'm from Austin, Tx and I also hope Scotty comes to Central Texas. I think that would help get his songs played on the radio here. Anyway I like this video. I thought that it would have a lot of water towers and wondering how it will play with fans in general but one thing is for sure Scotty fans will support him and this video!

DeleteI loved the new video, as I'm sure all true Scotty fans will, but just wonder how it will go over with country fans in general. Thought they'd show lots more "water tower towns" instead of just concentrating on Garner again.

Well 3:45, he did take pictures in other water tower towns, they was shown with the fans instead. He involved as many small towns as he could in that frame time. Very good video. Support Scotty and stop complanting about other water tower towns. He just did not show the water towers, but he showed the people of small towns. Be thankful.

ReplyDeleteThis is a fun, fun, video, lots of smiles and laughter, as it portrays Scotty's life in his water town town with people he knows, and those he meets on tour. Then too, I'm sure he passes a lot of other peaceful water town towns on his bus. Certainly when Scotty sings it live people are relating, with lots of hand clapping and waves. I like it very much and hope the radio brightens peoples day by playing this fun song a lot. Its a good one and Scotty as usual sounds great singing it!!!

This video is not make believe...it's the real life journey of our beloved Scotty. I thank God for Scotty & his family everyday.

ReplyDeletePurchased it on itunes first thing this morning and have watched it numerous times on youtube and cmt. I, too, thought the video would show several different water towers, but I actually LOVE the way this was put together. I really hope this will help WTT get more radio plays and at least make the top 20 on billboard. This song is so much better than a lot of the higher ranked songs on billboard now.....and IMHO Scotty's voice is unmatched in country music today. I can't imagine how incredible he will be in a few years. Talk about a Superstar!!!!

LOVE IT THIS BIG. I will buy anything Scotty puts out. I am a little concerned about getting new fans. Read comments that some don't want to see Garner anymore. We love it and Scotty does what he loves and I'm alright with it but he does have to think of appealing to more people.

He celebrates all of them in the video because even when he is away from his town and family, he still feels at home with his many adoring fans in this incredibly blessed and beautiful country. ReplyDeleteI hope everyone that can afford it goes and,buys the water tower town video on i-tunes.It's the chance we been waiting for to help him get up on the charts.It cost $1.99.We couldn't purchase it before,if you already bought it as a single or c.d,but now since it's a video so you can get your video while it's hot..............Good thing to do also go to top of page click in and request song on mediabase.I sure hope they give this kid a break,and start giving him the radio play he deserves

DeleteLove it! The song and video, are not ONLY Garner, but an example of peaceful, small water tower towns, scattered across America. I'm sure as Scotty is on his bus touring, he passes many of them! The smiles, laughter, and Scotty's interaction with people he knows and those on tour is all fun. RADIO needs to see how a song like this, brighten's one's day, with its wholesome view of American living at its best! It does mine!!!
ReplyDeleteThe video is great, is real, it shows Garner representing the life in small towns across North America. But is a live and lovely tribute to Scotty too. I really do not expect. a video like that, but I love it. I am glad they show different clips of Scotty's life and career. I believe that is a live ribute to him of his life. Must of the time when they make a video like this is when the person die, or retire . That video shows, not only Garner, it shows how a kid from a little town feels so proud of everything around him , and travel every where giving us a message of love and joy ,and how we can enjoy smple things. It is priceless every smiles, and little details in the video.

Scotty can't really please all the people all the time but it's great that he is pleasing at least 99% of the people most of the time. Most importantly, Scotty is pleased with it. I couldn't have thought of a better video than this. He has brought me to think how important my own water tower town is to me. All I had ever thought of is that it only supplies water to the town and I guess I have never gone beyond thinking of the activities around it. Good Scott. Thank you for taking me down Memory Lane. Yes, this is a Scotty fan web site, and we all come here to celebrate Scotty, and it can be upsetting to read negative comments, especially when you do not agree with them; but this video was not produced by Scotty, and we do not know the history and making of this video. There may be some TRUE Scotty fans who do not find that this video measures up to a top-notch video, and this web site should be open to sincere fan comments, and not just statements that everything is amazing if we do not think that it is amazing. TRUE Scotty fans should feel free to express their view on this and every video. Scotty's singing was exceptional on this video. Was the video itself exceptional?

DeleteI just love this young man..I follow him daily and have since 1st on Idol. His talent and the way he presents himself in everything he does makes my heart feel good. The image he is presenting to our young people is priceless. I met him last summer in MPLS, what you see is really what you get. Love, Love Him.

Scotty is a very lucky young man, to be brought up in such a town, and to have a LOVING family, GREAT friends, and a WTT that supports him in every way! DeleteJust want to share something that made me very happy. I´m totally in love with Scotty and have been since day one. My family din´t dislike him or anything but I just couldn´t turn them into Scotty fans. BUT NOW: my (grown up) brother and sister watched this WTT video, and what do you know: they LOVED it and they loved Scotty. Shows me: just keep going. Scotty´ll turn ppl over and I´m loving it.
