Scotty McCreery Gets Threat From Brad Paisley’s Dad Doug

Scotty McCreery has been the recipient to a Brad Paisley prank, a few times, on the ‘Virtual Reality’ Tour.  We can fully expect more pranks in the future.

Dan Van from Albright & O’Malley has noticed a common instigator behind the scenes at the shows. Brad Paisley’s Dad, Doug Paisley.

Scotty McCreery told Albright & O’Malley that the conversations are on going between him and the other acts on a possible prank and the timing of when to do it.

“We have been in talks in the dressing rooms on whether we should go on the offensive or just wait, because right now were sitting ducks but we got him right before we left off the last leg of the tour,” Scotty says. “He’s kind of given me a few hints as to what time or whatever.”

Scotty then reveals to Albright & O’Malley that Brad’s dad got Scotty thinking about pranks by telling him that Brad was going to get him, during a recent Opry appearance, before the current tour.

“We were at the Opry [recently] and his dad came up to me with a grin and said “Scotty smile and just think about what Brad is about to do to ya” I was like oh no, he’s the master and he’s got all the cards, he’s the headliner so I’m sure he’ll think of something good.”

Brad Paisley Prank Team Revealed:

Brad Paisley = Mastermind

Brad Paisley’s Manager ‘Brent’ = Action/Creation Director

Brad Paisley’s Dad, ‘Doug’ = Covert ‘Psych’ Person

There are other players but these three are the top of the prank team.

Scotty is up for USA Weekend Breakthrough Video of the Year for ‘Trouble with Girls’ on June 6^th at theCMT Awards.
