Indian Ranch set for 66th season

WEBSTER —  An “American Idol” winner, an “American Idol” finalist, a “Celebrity Apprentice” winner, a Redneck Woman, a San Francisco treat, a Geico pitchman and everybody’s favorite Kevin (“Thank you sir, may I have another?”) are just some of the piping hot acts being served up this summer at Indian Ranch.

Celebrating its 66th season, Indian Ranch is offering another star-studded lineup of contemporary country, rock and classic rock at its outdoor amphitheatre on the shores of Webster Lake.
Here’s a breakdown of this season’s concert schedule. All shows start at 2 p.m., unless otherwise indicated.
...He sounds like Randy Travis. He looks like Opie Taylor. He’s your “American Idol” season 10 winner. With a classic country baritone voice that sounds older and much wiser than it is, Scotty McCreery proved during last year’s “American Idols Live!” tour that he has a warm stage presence and is a natural performer (July 1).
...Tickets are available at www.ticketmaster.com, all Ticketmaster outlets or call (800) 745-3000. Call the box office at Indian Ranch, 200 Gore Road, at (508) 943-3871 or go to www.indianranch.com. All events are rain or shine.

  1. AAAAWWWWWWWW! He doesn't look like Opie Taylor ! He is a handsome, warm, southern gentleman with a big, full, beautiful voice. Say like it is, please.

  6. I wonder who the AI finalist is? Would love it to be Skylar. She's from the Carolinas, not sure if its north or south?

  7. I loved Scotty's coverage of songs by country artists like Josh Turner to George Strait to Elvis Presley. It was a treat every week, to listen to AI, to see who's songs he would cover! So to say he's like Randy Travis, may be so, but, I think too, his voice range can vary quite a bit as he showed with these covers.

  8. Scotty has never sounded like Randy Travis...they both have a deep voice but Randy is more nasal-y.
