  6. I´ve seen quite a few of vids where people are dancing to WMNOYH. This song has perfect lyrics and melody and showcases Scotty´s beautiful voice. It´s extremely catchy. It sticks to your mind and makes your foot tap. It makes you sing along and wants you to dance. It makes you feel good about yourself and life. It´s ideal for sommertime and mood. It´s ideal for radio. It´s nr. 1 hit material. HOW I WISH THEY´D RELEASE THIS SONG AS A SINGLE. IT WOULD FLY UP THE CHARTS. PLEASE DO

    1. Blair Garner said in the interview when Scotty's album came out, that Scotty could put any or every song out as a single because the album was that good. Go to After Midnite with Blair Garner and listen to the interview. It was a really good interview.

    2. I know it and I agree. I love every single song on CAD and have several favorites. So, WMNOYH is not the only one I love and not the only one I´d judge having hit potential. But there is a limit to how many singles they´ll release from CAD and that´s why I´d choose WMNOYH next

  7. Thanks Donna for posting this video. I have always loved this song. It just makes you sway with the melody!!! I agree with releasing all the songs as singles. I Love all of them. I do hope Scotty will watch this video. His voice is so perfect in all the CAD songs.

  8. I love all of the songs on the album, this is so cute there really in step.It looks like they were dancing to this song a lot.Good job ladies everyone in step.I'M wondering what will be the next video?I love the song water tower town .and hope it does good as a single for him.I myself think it would be cool since summer time is around the corner that they get a video out there for Summertime.I hope they at least release it as a single,I think that would be a big hit for the summer.I see where other artist have more than one song on the radio at a time.I guess it will be good to see a new video out there on any of hie songs.i miss him on the T.V. and,i miss him on the countdowns.I wish his manager would hurry up ,and do something.

  9. We are not the only ones who are missing to see him and hear from him. This lack of news is illustrated by a comment I saw posted on his You Tube video where a person is asking if Scotty had stopped singing. So it´s a good thing Scotty will be back out there in a very short while.

    1. I talked to a DJ Sunday (not on the station and I want name the radio station. When I asked him why they didn't play Scotty more, he said well there's a lot more people that have been around and have already paid their dues. With that I almost slapped him. I asked him when it comes to talent what difference does it make? He wouldn't answer my question. he said that I needed to get in touch with their corporate office. He said the DJ's have nothing to do with choosing the songs. He really had a nasty attitude.. Probably jealous of Scotty!!

    2. In all fairness, there are radio stations that are just slow in putting Scotty's songs on their play list.

But I think that there is this issue among some entities about how older singers who have been around long are having a tough time getting a recording contract with a major label, etc., versus winners of talent shows like AI, The Voice, etc. Not all these talent show contestants/winners make it big or gain massive success, but they are given the opportunity to start their career.

I do not agree with this attitude that these singers/artists [like Scotty] should be given a hard time just to make them "pay their dues." Talent is talent! But there is more to just the talent or the singing. There's also a great deal of likeability involved.

In Scotty's case, everyone noticed and recognized his talent, his God-given gift, on AI and fell in love with his beautiful golden country voice and personality. He immediately gained such a huge, solid fan base, something that all these older singers who have been around longer still have not established even with the support of constant radio air play.

Envy is a green monster. But I believe that there are a lot more in the industry who support artists like Scotty and recognize his talent and potential. E.g., Brad Paisley who immediately took him under his wing and on a major country tour.

I think some people need to start drinking SWEET TEA! ;)

  10. I am just wondering why country radio is so slow in giving Scotty's album songs airplay? With the success of the album -- and it's pretty obvious that all the songs on this album are potential hits (given the fair amount of airplay)-- why is country radio not playing the songs more? I don't get it. I agree with Blair Garner. When I first listened to CAD album I immediately felt the same way about all the songs.

It is so obvious that people want to hear Scotty sing -- he has so many fans and he is making more and more new fans though all these performances. Proof of this is in all the sold-out concerts and the major fan-voted awards.

If there is a video for WTT, it sure is slow in the making. I would have thought that they (his management/creative team) would have already planned this out in advance after TTWG was released and it went to Gold in 3 months!

I agree with Anon post @7:16 AM -- they better hurry up and do something. Everyone really misses him on TV every week (even though we know that AI10 is over) and we just cannot get enough of him and his singing/beautiful voice.

Although it could also be because they have to work with and around Scotty's academic schedule.

  11. Yes, radio´s support is slow in spite of Scotty´s success and in spite of fans requests and in spite of the fact that radio was said to be the one asking for WTT as the next single. Personally I´m getting a bit fed up with radio and they way they demonstrate their power. Scotty sold big time without much radio support and that´s why I agree that a quality WTT video, touring and many TV appearences (along with radio tour- ugh) would make a huge positive difference. I wonder, what might cause the waiting for the next MV ( maybe similar to rules conc. singles)

  16. I don't know but think he may still have obligations with idol,i'm just so unhappy with country radio, don't understand .I'M not a happy camper, and am missing scotty so much not blamming him though!!!!!!!!! mj in tx---and what about the opry performance, i am still seeing his name posted on some of the sites for 5-12-2012

    1. Yes, the Opry performance - a fan tweeted Scotty's mom saying that she had just bought tickets for the Opry show on May 12 and that she hoped to see them there and Scotty's mom tweeted back "yes" or something like that -

  17. I'm not sure how much of an impact radio air play is really. It must be important in some way, I just don't see how. We have quite a number of music appliances in the house, all featured with radio, but nobody ever turns the radio on! Everybody uses their iPads, iPods, iPhones, CD players, whatever other device...but not the radio. Probably while driving, but then it's more like plugging in the iPod. lol Fans will of course want to hear their favorite singer/songs on the radio and will request radio to play them, but if this does not happen, fans will simply download off iTunes or copy the songs to their iPods/iPads/computer devices. The success of TTWG and ILYTB is proof of this.

Having said that, I think radio has been holding back playing Scotty's songs (at least the syndicated stations) because they know that his songs will become instant hits! They are really giving him a hard time, despite the fact that he has won 3 major fan-voted awards - AI10, the ACA & ACMA New Artist of the Year! and already has 2 Gold singles and 1 Platinum album.

But he's on tour with Brad and the Band Perry, so this is really great exposure and experience for Scotty.

  18. Yes, times are changing and will reduce country radio´s power more and more. It still helps a single to get known though and I wish they would support WTT more.

But your´re right Karee in saying that touring and performing will make a huge difference and so will a music video.

BTW- does anybody know why the latest comments on the Opry event were taken down?
