Tune In Alert: TONIGHT Day Jobs on GAC

For a preview of tonight's episode click here.

Scotty McCreery -- Grocery Store Clerk
It's been a little over a year since Scotty stepped out from behind the register at his local Lowe's Foods and into the spotlight on American Idol. Amidst all of the chaos, one constant has remained, the strong connection he has with his hometown of Garner, N.C. This makes going back to work at his local grocery store, where he's still on the payroll, an easy decision. He is pushed out of his comfort zone as cashier, when they need help in the busy bakery department. Then the challenge is on between Scotty and high-school classmate/co-worker, Garrett at the checkout line. Will Scotty's celebrity back up the register or can he stay on track and complete the shift?

  1. Just watched this episode. Scotty, adorable as usual. Loved when someone came through the line and purchased his CD. He has sold a million of them, and he acted like it was his first. So humble and gracious

  5. I loved it! Also, just got a treat...turned to a local coutry station on the internet and they showed an interview with Josh Turner...must have been from last year's CountryMusicFestival in Oshkosh, which is big always. Anyway the guy asked him about what he thought of Scotty looking to him as his idol and the audience screamed for Scotty!! I was so excited because I don't know too many people into Scotty. Glad he has fans here obviously. It was at Y100 in Green Bay.

  7. I watched Scotty on Day Jobs. Enjoyed watching him decorate a cake and cupcakes. I thought that it was funny when all the customers were in Scotty's checkout line and the other cashier's had no one in line. I would have waited in Scotty's line too!! Scotty is always so humble.
