Comment Section **Be Nice** :)

I understand that everyone is entitled their opinion and view. We allow comments here, but always strive to maintain a positive and friendly environment.  At times, as a fan base, not everyone is going to agree and there is no issue with people stating their opinions.

When doing so please remember to  present them the right way.  Another words, choose and pick your words wisely. :)

Please understand that we here at Fans Of Scotty realize this, but at the same time MUST stick to our guns.

This site has been here for over one year, and one comment section left unattended for 18 hours shouldn't reflect how things here operate on a daily basis.

Again, sorry things weren't put to an end earlier.  I hope everyone knows how much we value the comments, and work to maintain a positive and safe environment for EVERYONE of all ages.

Thank You
Hailey, Donna, and Tarah.

  1. Thanks. It's so ridiculous for comments to get out of hand.

I'm not surprised that you girls pulled the comments! Some were definitely not uplifting!!...In trying to defend Karee and Scotty I might have just kept the pot boiling. If so, I apologize...Thank you all so much for trying to keep things positive and helpful to Scotty and all of us, his fans!!...Gramma S

  5. I hope you don't delete this, but I understand if you do. I wanted to say that the "I'm just a kid" comment that said that isounded corny. When we look at Scotty, 16, auditioning and going right to the top, never imagining that he'd make it...winner of AI...ILYTB is released and breaking records...he got to sing at the Opry, the granddaddy of any venue..did it twice...making all kinds of appearances...a successful AI tour..another record..rubbing elbows with some the elite in Nashville..touring with Brad...both gold records...and a platinum album and ACA ,AMC Awards. All this in short time. Many 18 years seem to think they know everything already and if they had all this they'd have a big head. Scotty admits he's a kid and needs to mature, he doesn't know everything. Going to college near home with friends and family ,that keeps him grounded. I think this shows great insight, wisdom and humility on his part in saying that. We love Scotty and love how he handles everything.

    2. You are exactly right! I'd like to add a couple of things. When Scotty says that "he is just a kid" it's his way of saying "I am humble." A person just can't come right out and say "I am humble," just doesn't sound right--but Scotty has found a way to express it with different words.

He realizes all the blessings that have come his way and he appreciates and is humbled by it all. He gives all the credit to whom he feels deserves it--his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. It's no wonder we are all drawn to him like magnets--God's light shines through him in so many ways. That light and Scotty's amazing talent continue to draw people of all ages to Scotty. The media are slow to catch on--but they usually are when things involve God and faith. One by one, even though they may resist, Scotty is winning them over. It's actually kind of fun to watch. Remember when he was interviewed on the Today show? I think that guy was a total "Scotty fan" by the end of the interview!

Scotty is right where he is supposed to be and doing what he is supposed to be doing. He is listening to the smartest manager around-the Creator of our universe. Let's all continue to pray for Scotty and family. Can't wait to see it all unfold!

  8. I am glad you put it into words............the draw, the magnetism, the radiating light.....I see the goodness and can't help but be mesmerized. What we needed in this world of anger, war, killing, greed and selfishness was.....someone like Scotty....... to show us the good that is still in the human race. That is why I am drawn to him. He is God's gift to those who wish to see. A chance for all who care to improve in life, faith, whatever......a child will lead you...........just my thoughts, please don't be offended.

  9. I watch Scotty talk, perform and juggle so much for one so young and I cannot help but be drawn to him. I worried, wondered and thought about why and finally after much inner turmoil came to the same thought. He was God-sent. He isn't a saint, as he has said, but he strives to live his life as it was intended. That in itself makes me want to be a better person, to live by example. You add to that mix a voice that should make anyone sit up and pay attention and how can one not be pulled toward the good?

  10. I get very upset when I hear anything negative about Scotty. The people that don't follow him on a daily basis are the ones that are missing a great kid and all he stands for. The world is such a mess right now and seems Scotty is the bright spot in every day. This kid has more charm and a voice that so many have been drawn to that it is amazing. He has such a busy schedule but takes it all in stride and just keeps going. I heard from a friend that he may be coming to Aberdeen Washington at the D & R Theatre and wish I knew if it was true. I saw him in Tacoma and left me wanting to see more of him. Love, Love, Love Scotty.

  11. So beautifully expressed by all!!...Brought tears to my eyes, as often happens where Scotty is concerned!!...I have said SO many times, Scotty IS a gift from God and we who love him so much need to PRAY that God will keep him sweet and keep him safe!!!!
I just wish Scotty could read all these wonderful comments!!!.....Gramma S

  16. I AGREE WITH EVERYTHING ABOVE, BUT I JUST WISH THE RADIO WOULD PLAY SCOTTY. I SEND AN EMAIL TO THE RADIO STATION AND VENTED A LITTLE BIT BECAUSE THEY AREN'T PLAYING SCOTTY AT ALL AND IT JUST REALLY UPSETS ME THAT THEY WON'T PLAY HIM. SCOTTY IS SUCH A SWEETHEART AND THE RADIO STATIONS SHOULDN'T TREAT HIM THIS WAY.

  17. I nagree that Scotty has shown great insight, wisdom and humility in how he handles himself and what he says. He is wise beyond his years.Always looking forward to anything come from him. The comment about Lester Holt of NBC is so true, that he can win over anyone. So many have become fans after just talking too him. Answer me this, HOW CAN YOU NOT??? He is the total package. I feel sure he will have a great career but, if somehow he didn't, he'll have had a great experience and I have had the joy of going on his ride. But we all feel we'll see much more of him!

  19. Somewhere I read that Elvis recorded T-R-O-U-B-L-E in the 50's. He recorded a song called TROUBLE but it isn't the same song. Don't remember where I saw that. Speaking of that song, I keep going back to Fremonts St. in Vegas and they have to be the best videos of Scotty. He sounds great, looks great, lots of smiles, having fun, doing a great job woth Scarlett and having fun with the band. And the audio is great, you can him whereas the Azalea Festival concert, forme, I could hear him or see him as west. Whoever did them, thanks.

  21. Thanks, I missed that one, only found the other one. Just listened to Elvis' version and, boy, Scotty does him proud. I listened to a lot of Elvis tonight and I can hear Scotty's voice doing them. I especially think he does good with Elvis's fast songs but would love to hear him do some slow songs too, in time. I know right now he's not comfortable doing the love songs, so I will wait patiently. L have to say Scotty is the closest think to Elvis in voice and charm.

  22. THANK YOU Hailey, Donna and Tarah! We appreciate you so much for all you're doing. I can't imagine how much time you give to keep up with the latest info on Scotty for this site. That includes the time given to reading and filtering through all the comments. Love this site and would hate to see it become "standard" instead of "exceptional" as it is now. :) Now I would like to say I'm just so proud of you McCreerians with all your positive comments above in support of Scotty. It's obvious to me that we're all drawn together here on this site because of our admirations for not only Scotty's singing ability but for him as a person. Scotty's maturity speaks well for his parents, Mike and Judy, as well as for his Faith. We're so proud of him and all that's been accomplished in such a short time and Scotty would give all the credit where credit is due, first to his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and then to his fans. It's hard for me to imagine anyone not loving this kid :) but yes, I'm a whole lot prejudice! ;)
