  7. I know it would be NCSU the way Scotty talks about NCS and only 10 minutes from home. Scotty has so much love for his family, friends and Garner NC.

  8. He needs to go there to begin with people know him and it will be a lot easier for him. He said for a couple of years and then possibly transfer to Nashville.

  10. I thought Scotty would go to NCS. It's so close to his home, & he said some of his friends are going there. So happy for you Scotty. They always say a family that prays together, stays together, & Scotty needs that still. God Bless them all!!

  11. I personally think that this is the best decision for Scotty. Not that my opinion matters in the big scheme of things. He's going to have to learn to juggle college, tour dates, traveling, etc. There is a huge difference between high school & college and he needs to get adjusted to college life in an environment that he is familiar & comfortable with! Also, I think he will be taking a lot of online classes and maybe NCS was the college that could accommodate him in this area. I do believe a lot of prayer and thought went into the decision on what college he would attend and it was completely thought out before a decision was ever made. I just keep looking back over the past year - Scotty has not failed his fans yet and every decision he has made has been what's best for HIM and I'm sure this will be no different!

  12. I agree, Donna. And also, it is his life after all. It's good that he can go to NCS, which is also where his dad went. Like a little family tradition. Ashley is at NCU where their mom went. But you're probably right -- I think NCS is the college that can accommodate his schedule, not to mention "home support." I'm thinking he doesn't want to go to college for 10 years! ;)

    1. Also, the first 2 years of college cover the basic subjects and 3rd-4th year is usually focused on one's major. So I think it will be easier for Scotty to tackle the first 2 years at NCS. State colleges are generally more flexible and accommodating towards part time/working students or students taking online classes.
