  3. OH MY GOODNESS!!!! There's our handsome young man in DC. Can not express how very proud I am of Scotty and all of the young men and women who are a part of this wonderful, special performance. This is the culmination of so much hard work and dedication....makes me realize that there are still many young people in this country who know how to work hard to realize their dreams. We just don't hear enough about the wonderful things like this that our young people are accomplishing. Congrats to all and have a Great Time in DC!

  5. This picture is awesome and brings me to tears. It is so great what he is doing and as stated above about other young ones working hard to pursue their dreams. Kudos to the Clayton women...3 of 6 schools selected. That is quite an accomplishment. And how soecial Mrs. Clayton to Scotty! This whole journey is something special to watch. JLo said she was glad to be witnessing what Scotty has. Just looking back at AI10 and saw where she said "I just love you". Everyone knows how special he is, almost everyone.Hope he records some of what he sang on AI. Randy said he could record "The River" and I agree...he nailed it on that song as he did with everything he sang. Just caught ILYTB on GAC and was nice to see again...we see TTWG more now. ILYTB is so special, so beautiful. I watched him when he sang it for the first time and seeing his Mom cry.It makes me cry, too, because it's his baby. When he first sang it I wasn't too sure about it...thinking people would think it was childish. But boy, it's amazing. Hope we get some nice video from D.C. or even better see it on t.v. Scotty keeps amazing us! Thank you dear Scotty. And thanks for this site. I'm here at least 2 to 3 times a day!

  7. i am just amazed at how this young man is sooooo grounded. he's accomplished so much for his young age, yet not one bone of conceit/swellheadedness in his body...still enjoying being with the people he'd been with before his fame. america, truly, had been right in choosing him as THE american idol...for he has given the title it's true meaning - in every sense of the word....not only talented, but a good role model, as well. kudos to his parents for having been able to raise a child like scotty....and we're proud of you, scotty...and hoping that for the rest of your journey, you'll continue to be a good role model for others to emulate...we'll continue to pray for you. God bless!

  18. Ohhhh <3 This is the little boy who told his music teacher he needed to be moved to bass because his voice was dropping! <3 Mrs. Clayton must be so proud of him. And that Scotty went back to her music class & the choir despite winning AI and putting out an album, going on tour and other performances, etc.
