  1. So cool that Scotty can do this with his class after becoming AI. Wonderful that his classmates allow him to just be Scotty.

  3. Can you believe Scotty the American Idol a Country Music Star be just another student working with his class mate. He is so unreal I can name another Music Star that would be so down to earth and love for his Family, Friend, School and Garner NC. What an example to the rest of us

  4. I cannot imagine how difficult all of this is. Not only do these kids have to learn extremely hard music, they have to learn how to perform with other school choruses that they are not that familiar with. And some of the songs are in "Latin"??? I am continually impressed with these young people and particularly with Scotty. How in the world he manages everything like he does is beyond me! Thank goodness for the support he receives from his family and friends during these "crazy" times. What a Special Young Man!!!!

  8. I am equally impressed with Wake County pupils and with our Scotty ! I was wondering if he would be able to join his choral group for this trip. What a special honor bestowed on the three choral instructors, the student and on President Obama. I do hope the WRAL sends someone to report and video tape this event. My hat is off to the instructors and especially to Scotty's parents for doing such a magnificient job in raising a very exceptional son.

  9. These kids are really talented and must have really good voices to belong to their school choir. Being a choir member is hard work. The practice sessions are really exhausting. I belonged to my school choir and had to audition to get in and it really meant a lot to me when I made it. But it was also fun because we all enjoyed singing even though the songs were "alien" to us. Hahahaha. So I can understand Scotty wanting to be a part of this as he really loved being in his school choir. These 3 choral groups must really be good to perform at the Kennedy Center. Would love to see a video of their performance. :)
