  3. I read in one of the blogs that Scotty is not joining Brad in his summer tour. But TBP will still be part of the tour. Sigh! He is a good match with Brad. I wonder if it is due to his baseball, his studies or that's all the contract says - winter tour only. I know he tries 2 balance education and career but there's too many opportunities coming his way. I hope he does another tour with another artist. Just what the saying goes....strike while the iron is hot.

  4. WHAT A PERFECT VIDEO!!!!! Thank you so much! So clear, so close. I loved seeing the audience like Scotty sees them. Scotty could use this as his "music video" for this song! I am serious!! This could be running on CMT!
Please go to more Scotty concerts and take more videos!

Scotty plans on playing baseball in the Spring, I'm sure that is why his last stop is In March with Brad. Plus, his Senior Prom will be during the Spring and the he graduates June 7th, so I'm sure that's why he is not on the summer tour. But remember, March 4th the day after his last stop with Brad he is going to be at Sea World in Florida, June 3rd he will be at Virginia Beach performing. I know as fans we get concerned that if he doesn't "strike while the iron is hot" people will forget about him. But I think we need to look at Scotty & his family and see who they are, what they stand for and what they expect from all this. Scotty has always said he isn't seeking for fortune and fame, that if he made a nice living out of doing what he loves to do, that would be fine with him. I know I would love to see the boy performing somewhere every night of the week haha! But I also know that Scotty has his priorities straight. He realizes that this could all go away whether he performs one night a week or every night of the week, that is why he is choosing to continue to lead as much of a normal life as possible. We all know his family, friends, his church, and going to college are very important to Scotty.
Besides that - if he doesn't live life just a little bit - what's he gonna write songs about! haha

  7. I think I was selfish when I thought about it. You made a good point, DONNA. Thank you for enlightening me. Admiring Scotty has given me a lot of emotional investment. Just as everyone is saying I was SCOTTIFIED. Maybe to the point of idolizing him which is going overboard. There is something in him that is a mystery that everybody who gets to like him us drawn to him, like a magnet. I just wish that he really gets to be a superstar without him knowing it. Or maybe I dont trust God that much who Scotty puts all his trust on. I should let go and let God do the rest.

You weren't being selfish all his fans feel like that at one time or another. I've had similar concerns, too. Yes, we fans are emotionally invested in Scotty & that is why we worry about him being forgotten if he doesn't stay in the spotlight. I have told everyone that you cannot explain what Scotty has that has drawn all these fans to him but it certainly is a strong magnet!! Scotty will be a superstar & in some ways he already is one! I don't think it's you don't trust God I think it's we only see a small part of the picture & from what we see we can't understand how it's all going to work out. But I believe Scotty, his family & his team but most importantly GOD has this all under control. :)
The good thing about just being the fan is we can just sit back & enjoy the journey!

  10. Donna, thanks again. This is really a good venue for showing your support to Scotty and at the same time throwing out some concerns and we have you and Hailey to oversee us and pacify our fears.
Thank you for this site. I view this site multiple times of the day. I truly love this kid, just like my son.
God bless you guys and all the fans.

  11. Maybe this could explain Scotty's success and his "magnetism" for fans of all ages:

If you honor God, He will honor you.
If you wave the Jesus banner
God will sit you on His shoulders.
Then you can wave that flag even higher!

  12. Donna, What a beautiful and insightful expression of Scotty's life and his mysterious effect on all of us!!!...I've always believed that his sweet magnetic personality is The love of God shining through him!!!...I pray every day for God to keep him sweet and keep him safe! The Entertainment world can be very dangerous! Thank God he's well so grounded!

  13. We have to see the big picture. We don't want burn out that many young performers have experienced. Just think how many years he has ahead of him. I also remember when Elvis left to do a stint in the Service. His fans were so hungry for him, he came back stronger than ever. How could ANYONE forget about Scotty. Just wish I was closer.....I would love to see him pitch a baseball game. Can you see it all now? Probably won't be able to get a seat in that stadium!

  14. PS from Gramma S. OOPS! I meant "so well grounded"

  15. I am planning on going to a baseball game. I decided this about 3 months ago. I see now that other people are thinking about it. I was hoping to be the only one who thought about this--less people, more Scotty---Ha Ha! I guess I will just have to take a lawn chair if the stands are full! Maybe I will catch a foul ball--I'm keeping it! The umpire will have to chase me down! If Scotty throws it--it's mine!!!
