Scotty McCreery Clear As Day album Sales Week 1/9/12 Hits Daily Double

With 54% of album sales on Hit's Daily Double reporting Scotty's album sales are at #13, I think with the new year and the album out 3 months this is great! We'll keep watching out for final numbers, As you know Scotty McCreery's first debut album Clear As Day has been recently announced by American Idol judges as "Platinum" - Units shipped.  See Here or scroll down to read the earlier post regarding his "Platinum" status.

  1. Hope his sales pick up again...sure wish he was doing more promo work to get his album out there. Hoping his tour with Brad P. will generate lots of sales.

  2. Don't know if this has been posted previously, but thought it was interesting:

    HDD Scorecard:2011 - Marketshare, Albums & Singles - Dated 12/16/2011
    ALBUMS:
...."Idol Champ, Scotty McCreery, makes the leaderboard with his Mercury Nashville/19/ Interscope debut (875K), good for at #16"

I guess at least 125K additional units have shipped since that date.....AWESOME!!!! Just Love This Kid! So Proud to be a Fan of Scotty!

  3. Dear 5:03 p.m. Scotty's Clear As Day Sales will
get a huge lift, because of the Brad Paisley tour.
I know I am buying 2 CD's when we go to the Concert Thursday in Grand Rapids. I am looking for a hoodie also. I am making a poster for the show. I can not wait much longer~~~~

  4. Gayle, I get a kick out of your posts....I think you need to start working on breathing exercises so that you don't hyperventilate when you see Scotty...He did say that he would be performing for a half hour, you can fit a lot of songs into a half hour. Have fun and tell all of us fans how great it was to see Scotty live.

  6. I was in a Target store in the Dallas area this past week and the store didn't have any of Scotty's album on the shelf. I believe he will do great and I also think that he will sell more during the tour. I enjoy listening to his CD in the car and my 5 year old and 2 year old granddaughters sing right along with me.
