  1. The American Idol Experience audience along with the contestants must have been thrilled to have Scotty appear on their show. As a true blue fan of Scotty's wonderful music and him as a person, I need to say this: Scotty, you very much need a wardrobe consultant, to load you up with fashionable co-ordinated outfits for all occasions. Clothes that fit well, maybe casual, but up-to-date in fashion, color perfect and flattering whether on tour or being seen on a stage like this. Those overblown, over-sized shorts are awful, and also sick of seeing the same old plaid shirts on tour. This comment is only meant to be inciteful not hurtful, from a fan who watches everything Scotty and always routing for your continued rising stardom!

  2. Anon 9:59, Sadly I agree. We Scotty lovers will always love him, but that outfit didn't win him any new fans!

Scotty, we still love you TTMAB!!!!

  3. Okay Scotty, listen to wisdom..."to whom much is given, much is required"! You are not in Junior High School any longer, and if you really want to have a wider audience among country fans, dude, you need to lose the baggy shorts and flip flops at public appearances. "When I was a child, ...I thought as a child...but when I became a man, I put away childish things." I Cor 13:11 Your current fans won't care, but the image you are projecting could have a negative effect on potential fans in the future!

  4. how rude,do any of you know what is stylish for an 18 year old boy ? it is surely differant than a 30 yr old & the scripture you quoted i don't believe it applies to the way he was dressed.& how many major male stars out there do think look like they have had wardrobe consultants? lighten up,he's 18 and being his self. love ya scotty---mj in tx

  5. Have to agree with mj in tx. Even if Scotty is dressed down he looks so much better than most Country Male singers.......let him be Scotty...If he became a fashion plate and started putting on the dog.......it would be perceived as if stardom has gone to his head. One thing that makes Scotty so special is he is "just a normal kid". Love ya all and know you have his best interest at heart.

  6. 8:39pm and 8:57pm sorry to say I don't share your opinion. I think 12:56pm (well said) and 9:59am are spot on in their thoughtful, caring advice to Scotty. Some of you look at Scotty like he's a little kid....he's not, though some of you would keep him that way. Were talking about attractive, flattering, co-ordinated casual wear not rhinestones! And, yes, I do believe as part of Scotty's career he can afford a wardrobe consultant, if it helps. Scotty is in the limelight; he's not the average Joe; and to look nicely dressed, though casual, is not putting on the dog, for heavens sake. Lots of young men that are not in the spot-light like Scotty, make a point of taking the time to wear clothes that are flattering. Dressing well, suits Scotty's personality and it also shows respect for his fans!!

  7. Criticizm can be good, but along with it there can be compliments and I want to say when Scotty dresses up for large functions, with a nice sports jacket, jeans and shirt.. wow he looks sharp. Also at Christmas with overcoat or jacket with large scarf...he looks wow! His clothes during his auditions were youthful, and casual but very stylish for his age group. Love Ya! Scotty!!!

  8. I love Scotty n I 'm a diehard fan. But I hv to agree as well tar I'm sick of d plaid shirts and I noticed that during brad's concert, he's wearing the same shirts as the AI tour. Scotty,I know you are a simple guy, but dressing up a bit doesnt make you any less simple. As your fan, I hope you take this as a feedback. After a while, people get tired of seeing d same thing. I remember how good you looked during every round of AI and we miss that Scotty look as well. I also agree that it would not help in drawing new fans. From a concerned ardent fan
