  3. Scotty will be so excited to be on tour with Brad,I bit the stage ,lighing etc, will just be wonderful,Scotty will sound even better if possible. If He's doing Dirty dishes ,I hope a couple upbeat ones get in there too.I'm very happy his MOM is going also, she doesn't need to now because Scotty is 18,but knowing Scotty wants her there is so sweet, she must be so proud to be his Mom.

  5. @5:31 His sister tweeted that she, her mom and dad are all taking turns. Glad he's going to always have family with him. And about the upbeat, Mrs. McCreery did reply to a fan saying he's performing 'Write My Number on You Hand' which is a little bit more upbeat.

  7. With the upcoming solo concert in Lancaster, CA, we need to help/request Scotty on the radio here...mega station. GoCountry 105 says he is not requested...after this reply is a copy of my email to them.

I don't pick the music Pat, our Program Director Tonya Campos does. She uses music tests and call-outs and a number of other ways to decided what to play. She also takes into account the number of requests we get for an artist, and sadly, Scotty hasn't been requested lately. I will let her know that you would like to hear more from him and you can e-mail her directly if you wish, Her email address is on our website.

Checking the play sheets, one wonders how a *new* award winning artist with gold records and videos out, gets minimal to no air play on GoCountry 105. How are, and who is establishing your playlists?
Thank you for any feedback on this question as I am really confused and disappointed.

  8. Unfortunately, there is no logic as to how radio stations determine their play lists. I have had the same problem with my local country stations. They sometimes say they play only top 40, but then half of the songs are oldies and when you request, they pretty much ignore you unless it is an artist they like. I can't figure it out at all. I sent e-mails to my station also and got no where with them.

  11. OMG Scotty's breaking out SCARLETT! Dang, this is gonna be awesome!

Before Scotty, the only times I've ever called a radio station in my life were to win a "meet n greet", yet I've always heard my favorite songs on the radio without ever requesting them. IMO song requests don't make or break radio play, so no doubt there are other reasons we're not hearing Scotty on the radio. But I believe this year Scotty'll get lots of radio play. Gotta stay positive!!!

  13. I love, love, love seeing him with SCARLETT again!!! I was thinking alot about Scotty today. I can only imagine how excited he must be. He is going on tour with BRAD PAISLEY- someone Scotty has listened to most of his life. Scotty could have never imagined this is where he would be at 18 years old. I am so excited. I am going to his last concert in Lexington KY so I will have to be patient over the next 2 months.

  17. This is really exciting, and next Thursday we're going to have a live chat room while Scotty is on stage, we can chat here and hopefully generous fans who are attending will be tweeting pictures and updates for us! So for those that don't have twitter don't worry!

Very excited about this tour and opening night. And Tarah congrats on being nominated as an Ultimate Fan!! If you were to win, what show would get tickets and meet and greets to?

  23. I think it's just awesome that Scotty's fans know his guitar, Scarlett and his truck, Loretta! And now meeting his "brothers" :D

  24. Scotty with his guitar- YEAH

  25. I don't know how long his set will be, since The Band Perry is opening for Brad too. Typically, an opening act would be about 40 min or so. Maybe 7 songs. I wonder how they manage to change the bands equipment. That's a lot of band changes before Brad takes the stage.

Concerts usually start around 8 for the headliner. Does anybody with Tickets know what time Scotty is scheduled to appear on stage?
