Info about Raleigh's Christmas parade tomorrow

Scotty is the grand marshal for Raleigh's Christmas parade taking place tomorrow. Here is some information from news observer.com if you're planning on going. It's going to be televised on WRAL so hopefully they will post it online for all of the out-of-towners to see.

ETA: WRAL.com will have a live stream of the parade. It will be on the top of the front page of their website tomorrow morning.

RALEIGH -- Sure, the turkey and pumpkin pie aren't yet in the oven for Thanksgiving, but Raleigh will leap ahead to the next holiday on Saturday when the 2011 WRAL Raleigh Christmas Parade takes place downtown.

Route: The parade starts at Hillsborough and St. Mary's streets and heads east to the state Capitol. It briefly goes around the Capitol on Salisbury and Morgan streets before heading down Fayetteville Street to Lenoir Street.

Time: The procession begins at 9:40 a.m.

TV broadcast: 10 a.m. to noon on WRAL.

Grand marshal: "American Idol" winner Scotty McCreery. The parade will be good practice for the Garner High School senior, who'll appear in the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade in New York next week.

Other participants: Marching bands from Triangle high schools and floats from area clubs and businesses. And, of course, Santa Claus.

The parade's distinction: It's the largest Christmas parade between Atlanta and Washington.

After the parade: Check out nearby Pullen Park off Western Boulevard. The popular park reopens Saturday after a nearly two-year renovation.

Scotty McCreery - let's get this trending!

Alright everyone let's help out Scotty & The Blue Crew tonight at 7:00 pm they are going to try and get OneTeamOneGoal trending on twitter.

everybody trend OneTeamOneGoal today for the boys in blue! after every tweet I'm putting it at the end. yall can join in too! OneTeamOneGoal

I know this isn't about Scotty but I feel this is something worth trending, as well. This child is 2 yrs old and is battling cancer. They live in NC, I'm not sure if they go to Scotty's church or not. But I've seen Ashley tweet asking for prayer for her as well as Ron Fowler, who does attend Scotty's church. Being a mother I cannot imagine going through something like this with one of my children.

**Just wanted everyone to know that I tweeted JennaWarriors and she replied that they do go to church with Scotty and his family**
