Scotty Mccreery CMA Christmas at Bridgestone

I've debated all day on whether or not to post anything from last nights live recording at Bridgestone. I've decided to post the pictures but I'm not comfortable with posting the videos. I feel if CMA wanted the videos posted for all to view, prior to the showing on Dec 1st, they would post what they wanted the public to see. I know you can see the videos on YouTube as well as other websites & that is a choice that site has made to post them. Hailey may feel differently about this & decide to post the videos & she has that right because it is her site, after all :) . I hope everyone understands where I'm coming from. Enjoy the pictures.

On Thursday night (Nov. 10), Nashville’s Bridgestone Arena was transformed into a winter wonderland as some of country music’s biggest stars came together to sing holiday favorites to the packed house. As seen in the above gallery of pictures, Scotty McCreery, Faith Hill, Keith Urban, Lauren Alaina, Kellie Pickler, Sugarland, Rascal Flatts, Martina McBride, Darius Rucker, Brad Paisley, Little Big Town, Vince Gill, Amy Grant and Brian Setzer were among the artists who participated in the special, which is set to be televised next month.

After Sugarland’s Jennifer Nettles opened the show with ‘All I Want for Christmas is You,’ she then switched hats to host mode to introduce Rucker to the stage or a performance of ‘Winter Wonderland.’ Alaina was up next, as she and Nettles sat in the middle of a group of kids talking about what they wanted Santa to bring them this year. The ‘American Idol’ star said that Christmas has already come early for her with the success of her album and career taking off after leaving the show, but if she happens to land on the “Nice List,” a little makeup wouldn’t hurt. She then gave a flawless performance of ‘Grown Up Christmas List.’

Rascal Flatts took the stage for a moving rendition of ‘White Christmas,’ followed by Gill’s performance of ‘It’s the Most Wonderful Time of the Year.’ He then took a seat next to Nettles and Miss Piggy for a comical skit, which led into a duet between Gill and Miss Piggy of ‘Baby, It’s Cold Outside.’ After the final note, Gill dipped the puppet back and planted a big smooch on her snout, and the audience couldn’t quite contain their laughter and applause. “If there’s a God in heaven, please say that’s a wrap,” Gill joked to the camera crew and producers filming the special.

Later performances throughout the evening included an a capella version of ‘The Little Drummer Boy’ as sung by Hill, Urban’s take on the classic tune ‘The Christmas Song,’ Little Big Town singing ‘Santa Clause Is Back in Town’ (which featured Urban playing lead guitar), McCreery’s beautifully sung ‘The First Noel,’ Sugarland singing ‘Silent Night’ and the Paisley/Setzer collaboration on ‘Sleigh Ride’ and ‘Boogie Woogie Santa Claus.’ The evening came to an end with all the stars coming back together for the finale of ‘Jingle Bells,’ which had the arena’s audience members on their feet as fake snow blew from the rafters over the crowd.

Look for the ‘CMA Country Christmas’ holiday special to air on Thursday, Dec. 1 at 9PM ET on ABC.

Scotty McCreery - Just a friendly reminder

Good Morning! I hope everyone is having a great day today. Please know that what I'm about to remind everyone of, is being done in love, not anger or hatred! :)

I was taking a little time before work this morning to look over some of the comments that have been posted lately. I think Haley, as well as myself, have posted several times asking people to refrain from posting negative comments or judgmental comments, about anyone on this site. Although, the comments I read today, are not as bad as some that have been posted here, in the past, but what was posted could have caused it to get to that point.

We need to remember that Scotty is a human being an 18 year old young man just starting out in this business. There are a lot of reporters, djs, and just people in general that will not love or like Scotty. So, they will be posting or saying negative things about him every opportunity they can get.

We, as fans, need to be supportive of him & his family. One way to be supportive is not to make negative comments on this site or question why he didn't do this or didn't do that. Remember, we are his fans, we do not own him or his family.

Hailey has worked very hard in keeping all posts & comments on this page positive and I think we should all respect her by not posting anything negative or judgmental about ANYONE on this site.

Remember, nobody knows who is looking at or reading the posts/comments on this site. It would be sad to think that Scotty or his family or friends would look at this site and see negative comments and think that this was what Hailey intended this site to be.

Again, I hope I have not upset or offended anyone with this post, because that was not my intention. I just want this site to stay a positive site for ALL of Scotty's fans to enjoy.
