The fan contest announced will be postponed until next week after the finale. This way the new banner will reflect well wishes for Scotty, or Incorporate his American Idol win.  After the finale next week we will begin the contest and more information will be revealed. We've also decided to add along with iTunes downloads the Winner will also receive Scotty McCreery's first Album  in DIGITAL DOWNLOAD form when it's released.

J.Lo the Barber: While everyone was still onstage, Debbie announced that Scotty was thinking about shaving his head for the finale. Scotty quickly said something to Debbie, who relayed his message to the audience: “But only if Jennifer shaves it.”

“Best day of my life”: Scotty sat on the golden stool while his hometown-visit clip played. When he broke down and started crying in the clip, the Idoldome loudly applauded for the singer. Debbie the Stage Manager then whisked Scotty and Seacrest to the seats next to the contestant’s parents. The decision to move him to the audience could have been planned from the beginning, but it seemed like a spur-of-the-moment decision by Debbie to milk the emotional atmosphere to its fullest. (For instance, the cameramen had to rush to set up the new shot. Had they known they’d be filming Scotty’s parents next, wouldn’t they have been setting up during the video clip?) After the interview with Scotty’s parents, the 17-year-old singer walked to the judges’ table and started a lengthy conversation with Randy, Steven, and Jennifer. He then finally returned to the blue couch and received compassionate hugs from Haley and Lauren.

Thursday night after the top two were announced Scotty won the coin toss on American Idol and was able to pick if he wanted to sing 2nd or 1st. He decided to let Lauren pick, she chose 2nd.  (Wonder why)  haha!  Scotty, Scotty, Scotty,........ If Scotty wins Idol, He will be the first winner in the history of Idol to have never sang last (Or the all important PIMP spot) But if rumors are true and contestants were offered it and could pass, we might now see why.  Did he give up his spot to the ladies throughout the competition?  Either way, I'm excited for this finale.  There is a lot of chatter about Idol having a "Country" finale, but for me - I enjoy it, and so therefore I can't wait.  Many idol blogs are saying why bother to watch?  Country wins, and it would have been more exciting with Haley in the finale. Yet, I'm starting to wonder if these bloggers leave the computer enough to actually gage the popular demand outside of the computer.  While many people were rooting for Haley and I myself like her, personally in the "real world" of casual watchers, I wasn't getting the same vibe.  The same bloggers that screamed ITS A TALENT SHOW, are now screaming THIS DOESN'T MAKE GOOD TV. Well, last year making the top 10 best selling artist list were Lady Antebellum, Taylor Swift, and Justin Bieber .. Country and young. Oh look American Idol has two young country stars in their finale.  And bloggers think AI fixed it.  Well, I just say America is loving it some country music, and personally if America wants to vote for  clean cut country singers with values I SAY GOOD FOR Them Good for Us !! <3

First off I would like to congratulate Scotty on making it to the finale!!!!!

OK, So for the fan contest It's up to you guys to create a new banner for us here at Fans of Scotty.  Depending on the amount of entries we get, we'll either have a vote, or pick ourselves.  If we get enough we'll have 2 runner ups who will receive 1 iTunes songs each, and the winner will receive 5 iTunes song.  You must have a valid email address.  The submission should be in JPEG format. The winner will receive 5 free iTunes songs of their choice, and satisfaction that you won something. (If you're like me you never win anything, but here's your chance)  wait, once on the NJ boardwalk I won a fighting Beta fish :/   It didn't live long, personally I suspect foul play, or the fact that they live an isolated life, and have no friends, or family :(   .. I'd really like to know who created this poor fish... It must live alone, and if it gets with other like fish, they fight.. Perhaps it's an old family feud.. Perhaps I should go to sleep, I will announce the rest of the information tomorrow morning at which time I will probably delete most of what I typed here, since it's very very late and I think I exceeded my maximum capacity for today. thanks <3  p.s I wish spell check would discontinue telling me Scotty or McCreery is spelled wrong. I know these are up late, DO NOT JUDGE ME :) JUST WATCH HIM AGAIN :d Also, I'd like to give you my recap from Top three night! Idc if it's Friday, I've been busy >--< So here it is Scotty's first song, or was it the 2nd.. I can't remember, but all i know is there is a scene, and he turns his head,,, and his ear piece thingy is TAPED TO HIS HEAD. I lauged and thought GOOD JOB YOU MAY KEEP YOUR JOB AS EAR THINGY TAPER DOWN PERSON, (Really I'm this lame, that I noticed, and lamer because I lauged) Is lamer a word? IDC I'm using it. And oh Scotty ruled, Lauren ruled, I felt bad for Haley when she fell and I didn't watch it back at all or ever hit rewind I have to say her recovery of this was top notch, had it not been visible on TV nobody would have noticed since she didn't miss a beat. The judges loved them all, I voted THE END! <3
