  3. These #s are fantastic. We his loving fans, who know how great Scotty is and will be even more so in the future, don't realize how exceptional this is. This isn't an everyday event. It's not easy to sell like this in the music industry, especially being brand new. Scotty became a star the moment he opened his mouth at the audition, when he captured all of our hearts. He's making new fans everyday, all over the world. There is just something special about Scotty.

  4. I totally agree with 4:49PM. Scotty is very special. I am 56 and have never been so touched by someone. My husband didn't understand in the beginning but now he sees that Scotty is unique and special in his own way.

  5. So true anonymous 4:49 PM. We love this young man's singing too at this house. Ranging in age 18 to a 45 year "old man". Spread the "MCCREERY MAGIC".

  6. I went to WalMart yesterday to purchase a few more CAD CD's for Christmas gifts and they were out again:( I think they underestimated our boy. Went home and ordered on Amazon instead.

  7. .....and Scotty is singing at his Chorus concert tonight, I wonder what everyone there will think and he'll be in a tux. This boy who just sang at the ACA's, the CMA's, etc.

  8. I agree with the above posts, I am 55 years old and never in all of my 55 years have I ever followed any entertainer like this. I love to hear him sing, when he opens up it makes you feel like you are the only one that he is singing to. For such a young man he holds true to his values, is not afraid to make a stand for the Lord and seems to know what it is he wants in life. I am so proud that he loves the Lord and lets his light shine. God bless you Scotty and you sure have a fan in me. Stay humble and continue on the path you are on and who knows what the Lord has in store for you.

  9. Every comment from everyone is so true. I'm a 51 year old guy that was blown away the first time I heard him sing. I love all his values, his love for his friends, his family, I love his family, and I love Scotty's ability to truly listen and communicate so effectively in interviews.

And I also agree, I can't ever find his CD in the stores I go in to purchase it. So I purchased a couple from Amazon last week too. :) I'm grabbing a few more stocking stuffers this week as well.

There's only one negative about Scotty McCreery - I have no time left anymore to do every thing I need to really be getting done haha.

  10. I agree with all the comments above. I am a 61 year old gramma for Scotty. No one has touched me the way he has. He has that "It" factor. I saw it from his first audition and it continues to grow. What an amazing young man he is! I can't wait for his CD to go platinum - what an accomplishment that will be for a new country artist.

I hope there are some pics of him at concert in his tux. Those pics will be show stoppers.

By the way, I love this website. It is the best Scotty fan site out there. All of you do a great job. Thank you, thank you, thank you for all your great work here.

  11. I TOTALLY AGREE WITH ALL ABOVE COMMENTS! I AM A
62 YEAR OLD WOMAN; WHO WAS SUFFERING FROM DEEP
DEPRESSION BECAUSE OF LIFE EVENTS; FATHERS' DEATH,
BEING HIT BY A DRUNK DRIVER, AND KNEE REPLACEMENTS. AFTER EXPERIENCING SCOTTY'S MAGICAL
VOICE, MAGICAL SWEET PERSONALITY, AND BEING TOTALLY SOLD OUT TO THE LORD; I FELT A HUGE BURDEN
LIFTED FROM ME. IT WAS GOD WORKING THROUGH SCOTTY TO CONSTANTLY BLESS MY SOUL. THANK-YOU LORD!!!!

  15. I'm a 20-something female and what I love about Scotty is that his voice (both singing and speaking) makes me smile. I don't know Scotty personally, but it's hard to imagine anyone being around him and NOT smile. Anyway, I'm happy for the success of CAD and wish him continued success in his singing career. Those sales & chart numbers look great.

  16. I was embarrassed at first to be so utterly captivated, for the first time in my 76 years, by this wonderful boy with the magical voice and million kilowatt smile!...I thought, and my family did too, that I would "grow out of it"... But he just keeps getting better and my addiction keeps getting stronger.!!!... But now I know I belong to a HUGE club of Scotty lovers
and I am PROUD of it and of him!!!...Love him like my own grandkids!!!

  17. Hey what do you all think about this - posted on another site:: scotty is doing awesome - only gets better. I truly hope someone takes video of tonights performance and posts it - it would be awesome to see what else scotty is capable of. I still think scotty and haley reinhart should do a duet - I don't know why - but I have a feeling it would be F A N T A S T I C. I think he could do a country/jazzy kinda thing - i think it would surpasse anything he's done on duets already - and it would open up his potential for all kinds of duets in the future. I think we would all be so delightfully surprised by what a duet with haley would sound like - Wow am i the only one seeing/hearing this out there?????????????????????? I dare someone to throw it out there on twitter and see what happens !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  20. Ditto X 4. I feel so much better after reading the above posts because I've been wondering what's come over me.... I am a 55 year old widow with a full life, who is also OBSESSED with Scotty for all of the reasons stated by others. He puts a smile on my face like few other people can... Call it the "it factor", magic, great karma, he just is the real deal-inside and out.
I am so excited for Scotty and his family; it must be wonderful to watch him blossom and touch so many lives with his music and personality.

My prediction: CAD will hit platinum in 2012 and next Christmas, we'll all be enjoying his Xmas CD.

Thanks too to all for this wonderful fan site. It's the best for all things Scotty!

  22. About that duet thing... no doubt Scotty would sound great dueting with just about anyone, but I'd love to hear him sing with aother country music artist.

    Impressive numbers for Scotty. YAY!

  23. Scotty's voice is the best I've ever heard! Im a 40 year old Mom to three,,,a 7 year old daughter, 13 yr old daughter and a 15 yr old son. All my kids love Scotty!! My daughters think he is cute and my son thinks he is cool. I even caught my husband singing along to CAD in the car. My 72 year old Mom; also a fan. Scotty appeals to all:)

  24. I am 68 and thought something was wrong w/ me because I feel like a teenager obsessed w/ young Scotty. Alright, I am all for the seniors, 55 and above (the age they start 'affordable' rents to) that want to start a fan club so we can share all these 'menopausal' cravings and rumblings (hahah). We need a savvy nerd that can start our website. So, any takers?.....this should be fun!

Got so excited I forgot to say I am so happy with the way Scotty's numbers are going. My Walmart here in Carrollton, TX often runs out of
Scotty's CDs. Best Buy and Target are my other haunts now. Good for stocking stuffers. I missed the sales two weeks ago.

  25. Re: 9:37pm: I replied to your comment on another site but will respond here too. I may be wrong, but, I think, its way to early in Scotty's career to be doing duets. Duets IMO always favor the girl, because she has the higher voice, and he's already experienced that on AI. I think, nows the time for him to continue to make a name for himself, on his own. However, I want to say, I really enjoyed the songs Scotty did on AI where he had back-up singers, like when he sang "Gone" and had the two young girls as back-up, they were really good, and "Cross My Heart" although the timing was a little off at times and also "That's Alright Mama". I think they added to his performance.

  26. Dear 2:29 a.m., There is everything RIGHT WITH YOU

YOU JUST GO GIRL !!!! gayle

  27. Have to add my 2 cents. I am a 73 yr old Grandmother of 12, great grandmother of 5 and follow every step of Scotty McCreery. Never have ever done that with a performer. Not even George Strait....though I have always been a fan of Country Music. Scotty has something.....different. He sings to me on my way to work, on my way home from work, and I have both CAD and his A1 cd on Real Player on my work computer and they play in the back ground all day. Talk about obsessed! But is is a calming thing. Keeps me smiling in a world that there is not too much to smile about these days. I just want to live a long life to follow Scotty's bright and wonderful future. Praise God.

  28. I cannot express what I am feeling right now. I just can't get Scotty beautiful voice, the beautiful words to the songs he chose for his first album and the fact that he is a beautiful human being out of my head.

  31. I think if Scotty sings a duet, anytime soon, it should be with another male artist like he did with Tim McGraw or Josh Turner not a female artist. Of course, I don't think he should be singing with anybody yet, it's too soon. I'm so happy for his success. Love this boy! Can't wait to see anything new about Scotty. I'm 42 and I see I'm not the only one from Carrollton, Tx.

  32. Just saw Scotty's TTWG video on CMT.ca (Canada) for the first time. Amazing and finally!! Was so excited - almost fell off the treadmill. He's also getting more airtime on our local country station. Go Scotty go!!!

  35. I am 51 and became a huge fan quickly. I never did watch American Idol nor was I ever a fan of country music (I am a little bit rock and roll). My best friend (who is a little bit country) called and said look this guy up on the internet you have got to hear him. I said country :/ she yes just listen to him. I did and sold! I watched every week just to listen to him. My radios are playing country and I have bought several cd's and Zine paks. You can figure out what people are getting for Christmas.
