  3. Please guys, please please go to Taste of Country and vote for Scotty on best cover performance.....Blake is almost overtaking him. Please vote on different computers everyday. Only 9 days to go, it would be a waste to lose out at the last minute. I dont know how to do this because I'm not very computer savvy...but can somebody post a reminder on all Scotty's fan sites to go and vote for him. Please guys.....

  4. Scotty is a sweetheart and his fans love him for that. Plus his amazing talent, humbleness, stage presence, love of God, love of family, friends, and country....I could go on but we all know why we love this boy so much. I agree with 12:12 that I was never a fan enough of anybody to join a fan club but I can't get enough of this kid. He brightens my day and brings me some much needed joy. God bless him. I hope he stays grounded and true to himself and he won't go wrong. All your fans are proud of you.

  9. I love this kid and can't get enough of him . Ilisten to his records over and over, I go back to AI and watch his performanmces there and on tour. I have heard his music everyday, morning and night. Love hearing 'anything Scotty', whatever tidbits you can bring us. Jusat saw Entertainment Tonight...all the hype over Justin Beiber...I don't get it...but everyone has their own taste. And mine is Scotty. Such a morally clean young man. He's not in a hotel with a girlfriend!!! JB is younger than Scotty and has been in that relationship for a while. The world is a different world than when I grew up, but I have a feeling Scotty really has respect for women and will be a wonderful catch for some lucky girl. Don't want to see him rush into anything, but I can't wait to see the kind of young lady he chooses to date.

  10. I agree with above comments. Anything Scotty is right, whether he is signing, playing, or just a picture...he puts a smile on my face. What is this that all these granmas are so taken with him. i never was this addicted to any singer in my 66 years. Of course, we didn't have access to them like we do today. Thanks for this site!!!

  11. Ditto everyone's comment. I just turned 56 today and I had never been captivated by anyone liked Scotty before. I listen to his music; I watch his performances on YouTube; I check for his news every day. I only want the best for him. He is such a nice, humble, young man. He is a rare gem. He is so precious to all of us.

  12. I am glad I am not the only 56 year old that follows all things "Scotty!" I am convinced that his faith in God and Jesus is making almost a supernatural connection with fans of all ages. I have been to 2 of his concerts and there were grandparents, parents, teenagers and small children at both of them. It was almost like we were one big family. Everyone was sharing things they knew and liked about Scotty. There was an electricity in the audience as we waited for him to come out on stage. I went to his birthday/album release party by myself and made instant friends. I sat on a row with 2 grandmas, a grandpa and two elementary school aged girls at his QDR Country For the Kids concert. There were teenagers there with their parents. How many concerts do you see teenage girls attending with their parents?
My 79 year old mother went with me to see Scotty at the QDR concert and we are going again to see him at the NC State Fair. The only other concert that we have gone to together like this was Elvis Presley (when I was a teenager and she was my age). I think that we are only just seeing a glimpse of what the future will hold for Scotty. I feel blessed to be able to watch him along this journey.

  13. amen to all comments. so great and bless to be joining this journey with Scotty and all all die hard Scotty fans like me.. God bless us all.. Merry Christmas...

  14. Scotty's charisma is authentic. You can feel it in the comments made by all of the above. Like many, I too am in my mid 50's, and have never followed anyone's career like I am Scotty's (e.g., multiple visits to fan site, rewatching old AI clips, tweeting, buying many copies of his CD, etc.). I love the way he is bringing generations together....(I am taking my 82 year old mother to LV to see him and she too has become a huge fan.) Scotty's message to his fans last night was filled with so much emotion- makes me want to him succeed that much more! (If that's possible!) Bless his sweet heart!

  15. I am 54 years old and I have never followed anyone before or voted on american idol, until Scotty. I agree with all the comments. They all sound like me. Glad I'm not alone. I have been called a "Scotty fanatic" and I just smiled and thought you don't know what you're missing. This young man is special. Thank you for this site. I don't know what I would do without it.

  17. Merry Christmas to all you Scotty Fans. Scotty's version of. "The First Noel" is played constant in my home. I am hoping for a new single (one of the upbeat songs) and I think it will start the New Year off with a bang for our Scotty. His tweet is so...Scotty, lol. I love hearing from him.

  18. this 53 year old also agrees with all the above statements as i get my daily update on anything scotty. I also check in at MJ"s blog daily and yesterday i found this statement which i believe also reflects all we're saying here: Tess writes:
I sure like the fact that Scotty McCreery isn't afraid to come across as a nice decent down home boy who loves his family and isn't in any hurry to grow up and leave. He appears to be very assured about who he is...how many guys would talk about their special pillow (shades of a blankie) and isn't afraid to admit that he still likes to spend time with his extended family.

For so many kids it is about proving how old they are at 18 and how they have left behind all the remnants of childhood and their upbringing and how they are so into adopting all the ratrace things that adults do. I might be looking at things through the rose-colored glasses of old age...but I really think that what Scotty brings to the table is really what a lot of other kids like. They want to know that it is OK to be somewhere between childhood and adulthood and that life isn't a race to see how fast you can get from one to the other.
    Tess Top 10 Yesterday 08:13 PM :
Well i do believe that also says it very well. I think our younger generation need more examples like scotty and ashley to come to the forefront so they can realize its okay to live with and love our parents/grandparents and to want to spend time with and around them. I tell both of my sons (29 and 23) that even if there were not my sons - i would love to hang around them - they are cool to be around.

  23. Hey y'all. Is this site for fans age 50 and over, or can anyone post? We know that Scotty has fans of all ages, but is it really necessary to constantly mention your age?

    ReplyDelete
  24. Finally Scotty puts his fans before sports! I love you Scotty....thanks for thinking of us!!!!!!! :-)

    ReplyDelete
  25. I think the reason we are all mentioning our "surprising" ages is almost like a group at an AA meeting. We are able to talk with others who are going through the same experience. We're revealing something that we have been teased about and laughed at about and maybe even wondered ourselves if we are acting weird or have a problem. Some have even kept their "Scotty mania" a secret. It is nice to talk with others who feel the same way and have never done anything like this before. The good news is that there's nothing wrong with us! There just hasn't been anyone like Scotty around before for us to make this connection with. Supporting and liking Scotty and his wonderful Christian family is not something to be ashamed of!

  26. Thank you, Scotty, for being the wonderful young man that God intended you to be. ILYTB!

  27. Ditto 12:32 PM and ALL others!!!...Every one said what is in my heart!!! Except-- Has anyone else actually asked God to forgive them if they love Scotty TOO much?!!... I have commented before that God made us all love him so we would pray for him because God's Hand is on his life. And I do that but really have become almost obsessed with "OUR" Scotty... Because he seems so accessable to us , like no other celebrity ever has!

THANK YOU SCOTTY & FAMILY for your Christmas card!!! You really made a big Wish come true!!!
I hope you all have a Wonderful Christmas!!! You all deserve it!!!

  28. A good time to wish Scotty and his truly wonderful family a very Merry Christmas. Also, a Merry Christmas to Hailey, Donna, Tarah and Gloria and families, and, a big thank you for posting this site. Last, but not least, a very Merry Christmas to all my fellow fans of Scotty!!

  29. Ditto 1:42 from Gramma S.!!!

  30. To 12:32 PM: Okay, I get it now. I was just curious because I love all genres of music and I've never felt "weird" or asham to admit my love and/or appreciation for ANY recording artist regardless of their age...or mine. I guess that's why my friends and family have never teased me about these things. Scotty has fans from ages 1 to 92, so I agree that supporting and liking Scotty is not something to be ashamed of.

  38. I love all you Grandmas who are supporting Scotty, and you guys are so sporting and young at heart. I am 32 years old and I'm a hardcore fan of Scotty. I also check all his fan sites every morning and night before I go to bed. Reading this tweet from him just melts my heart and like what some of you said, I wish Scotty would tweet us more often.......at least we know that he's still with us... makes my day!!!

    ReplyDelete
  39. I always wondered if Scotty ever reads all these comments on the fan sites. I think we would all freak out or even 'pass out' if he posts a comment or reply here on this site. Frankly, it would be so cool. The younger people are able to tweet him and they get to speak to him. But older people like some of us are not so computer savvy and dont get much chance to communicate with him. Well, hopefully someday he will drop us a comment here. Wishful thinking? Hopefully, papa or mama McCreery will read this and ask Scotty to give us a nice surprise. Christmas wish maybe !!!

  40. I agree, his younger fans can connect with him better than us older fans. I follow him on twitter and read about him on the computer just about every day for more news. I would love to get a tweet or a comment from him. I think he is truly a unique young man and I hope he always stays true to himself and his fans.Hope he puts out new music in 2012 that will blow everyone away.
