Requesting Scotty's Songs On Radio

As of late there has been a lot of debate going on about what a "Anonymous" poster said on Idol Forums, about requesting Scotty's song.  For the record I am not saying they "ARE" or "AREN'T" legitimate.  I am though saying, and feeling something just is "Off" about the situation. Donna and myself have contacted some local stations, and some not so local ones, and DIRECT from the stations seem to be getting the same response.  "As long as your polite, and not demanding all is well."  <-- This is direct from QDR. I emailed them yesterday, and they got back to me right away.  Donna also had a similar response from a station.  We all agree we don't want to hurt Scotty, but we also need to be aware that this is the Internet, and anybody can say anything, anywhere.  I rather take advice straight from the stations, and not a random poster on a forum.

*So, Request (Locally) if a station takes out of state requests, and you want to do that, apparently   that is fine.

*BE POLITE

*Don't spam

This seems to be the guidelines.  I also would like to state that NOWHERE do I see any station being spammed on Face Book as "Radioperson" (The screename of the Idol forum user who addressed the fans)  And, NO PLACE do I see or have I heard of any mass mailings.  I don't know everything (but don't let my kids know that, lol)  but I'm just letting the readers here know what we have found out, and what the stations seem to be directly saying.

A screen cap of the return email from QDR.
